History:
Patches has always walked a very fine line between being a �girly girl� and a �tom boy�. Since she was a pup she�d always been competitive and a bit of a rebel, coming home covered in mud or soaking wet and smelling like the fish she and her cousins had spent all day catching with their bare hands in the river. As she got older, she became more concerned about how she presented herself and enjoyed a more feminine appearance, but inside she was always going to be the free-spirited and outgoing Lycan she was born to be. Despite her demure appearance, she�s a bit of a trouble-maker and isn�t afraid to tear her clothes climbing trees or getting into �cat fights� with girls like Darby.
When Patches� little sister, Pepper, was born, their mother passed away. Their father was killed in a Human raid when she was 14, a group of Humans just happened to stumble upon the Far Mist territory. Only 3 of them escaped alive, taking with them Patch�s cousin, Rain. They killed several of the pack members, including Patches� father, who had been protecting little Pepper from being taken. Since then, Patches felt she had to protect her sister like her father did, but at the same time she harbored resentment for her little sister for a long time, since it was in rescuing her that their father had died.
Patches and Pepper lived with their Aunt Snow, her husband Slate, and their cousins Rain and Timber after that. It was an oppressive environment. The girls couldn�t have friends that were boys, except for their cousin, and dating was out of the question. They weren�t allowed to leave the first boundaries of the Far Mist, despite the fact the mist around their lands protected them for up to the fifth boundary line.
When Patches turned 18, she and Pepper moved back into their father�s home at the base of the cliffs. It was mostly an attempt to get out from under Slate�s roof, but nothing changed. No boy would do more than smile in their way, too afraid of Slate�s vengeance. Patches felt trapped, and she started acting out even more.
Finally, her cousin, Timber, returned home with news of Rain�s survival, and an outsider was with him, a Canid from the 106th Pack named Amanda. She was the first Canid ever allowed inside Far Mist borders. The mysterious Canid brought with her the promise of a new adventure that Patches couldn�t pass up. Unable to abandon Pepper, she packed their bags and insisted they return with Timber and Amanda. It wasn�t long before her journey began and Patches found herself thrown into an exciting stay at the Dragon King�s castle.
Powers: She is a strong magic user, mostly with air, mist, water, and snow/ice magic. She can also heal, as long as her energy is high enough to allow it.
Weakness: Fire and Darkness magic.
Personality:
Patches is an even split between a �good girly girl� and a �rebellious tom boy.� She has the potential to be sweet, shy, coy and vulnerable, but she can also be stern, competitive, intimidating and outlandish. She will normally speak her mind and doesn�t let much of anything stop her from doing what she sets her mind to. She has a big heart, but she�s always longing for someone special to share it with, yet she believes that she�ll never find love. She can feel lonely at times, but one wouldn�t know it by looking at her, since she always tries to keep a positive and energetic outlook on things.
Physical Description:
Patches was named for the mottled patterns only ears and tail. Her fur is black and red with patches of browns, oranges and whites throughout. She has loosely curled auburn hair that comes to her shapely hips (though usually worn in a ponytail) and bangs that frequently fall into her eyes. Her skin is like cream, and just as smooth, and she has a very small beauty mark just between her breasts, which is only visible when she wears a low-cut shirt. Her eyes are a shimmering, deep amber, just like the stones -- one could expect to find something secretly frozen inside of them. She has an athletic build; long, attractive legs, and curves in all the right places that make her what the Far Mist boys call �sexy�.
