Has Trouble With: She's shy so she hates being in large crowds or around a whole lot of people. She can do fine performing because she can tune them out, but just being in the midst of them scares her to death.

History: Laylana was born into a tribe of gypse entertainers, so she's spent most of her life traveling around in a nomadic, circus-like environment. she excelled in most anything she tried, but her favorite things were the high wire, a crude form of the trapise, and anything that dealt with children. Her people were often ridiculed for associating with the other different races that populated the areas they traveled to. She learned early how to defend herself against these people when her father taught her to use all kinds of weaponry. When she was twelve, a group of humans who believed that humans should rule over all the races ambushed their tribe and killed almost everyone other than her herself, her father, and a small handful of others. Her father was injured,
blinded by the raiders. What was left of their people scattered and Laylana and her father moved to a neighboring village. They lived there together for a few years, until her father died of natural causes when she was seventeen. Now she lives alone of the outskirts of the human town, making her living by going into town or to some of the neighboring tribes and performing as a entertainer; juggling, singing, telling stories to the children, whatever will help pay the bills. She also goes out as a healer to families with sick or injured loved ones that can't afford to see a doctor.
Powers: She has some telepathic and empathic abilities. She's best at healing though, having a natural healing touch. She can also do simple gypse tricks, such as illusions and dissappearing tricks.
Weakness: She's a very shy person when you first meet her. It gives many people the illusion that she's weak or cold, which is very untrue.
Personality: She comes off as this shy, mild mannered person, which she is for the most part. She's quiet and sweet, but she has an inner strength that's not to be messed with. She hates violence and always tries desparately to find a way around it, but she will fight when necessary. She's very much the girl-next-door type, if the girl next door swings from trapeses and and can kill you with almost any type of weapon put in front of her face. She's always willing to help someone and is extremely loyal to her friends.
Physical Description: She has a beautiful light tan that seems to complement her deep chocolate brown eyes. She very strong from years of training with the circus, but she doesn't show it. Her silky hair is wavy and falls just past her shoulders. She usually wears gypse-type clothing: semi-tight corsets that're on the outside of her clothes, long flowing skirts, and a slash that goes around her waist. She has a brilliant smile that would melt anyone's heart and a natural gracefulness that is almost Vulpine in nature.
Special Devices/Weapons: Although she can use almost any weapon, usually she wears a special belt that has about a dozen or so knives in it. She hides the belt with the shashes she wears.
