So Amy was given a communicator and she joined the late night chats about boys and monsters. But that wasn't all. Amy had never been content with 100% and even as a sailor Scout she wanted extra credit. And so with the help of Luna she constructed a small data computer and visor to aid them in battle.
Serena sat in home ec. This was by far her favorite class. Don;t get me wrong, she still burnt her fair share of cookies. But if there was one thing she could be serious about beside Tuxedo Mask, it was food. Plus she always got to work with Anna. And no one ever tried to break them up, because no one else would work with Anna. Word had got out a few weeks ago that she was originally from Earth, and she became a victim of the prejudice. but Serena knew better then to judge some one by locations. After all she had four great friends from other planets.
"Pass me the flour."
"There you go, and could I please have the yeast?" They were busy making mini-pizzas, but Anna was behind cause she kept looking over at Darien. Serena intended to tease her about this latter.
"Class" the teacher called "I would like you all to see how well Molly here has ..." The teacher went on and on about the difference between top brown and golden brown. Darien leaned over to Serena. "I'm proud of you Meatball-head." he whispered "you haven't spilled anything all 20 minuets. That's a new record." Serena clenched her fist and growled, but Anna started giggling. She knocked her shoulder "I can't believe you're taking his side. Am I really not as good as your crush?" Anna looked very shocked and slightly pink "My crush? Yea right, no way."
"Anna, Serena!" the teacher boomed "do you have something you wish to share with the class?" "No Mrs. Andrews" they said hanging their heads
~*~*~*~"Hey Darien do you believe in love?" Serena asked after dinner that evening. They were sitting in the gardens right below the state room. The setting sun was casting an orange glow over the white flowers.
"You're not trying to tell me you have a crush on me are you?"
Serena actually fell off the bench in a fit of laughter. "Me like you! Ha ha ha as if! Dream on." She took a moment to regain her composure "but really if there was say, a girl in my class who had a crush on you what would you say?"
"That she was too young to know what she was talking about."
The Princess turned away and shook her head. "I've said it once I'll say it again -1 on the personality scale." she said "Not even a respect for first love." "You are being foolish." he said closing his book "And just so you know you've got about a 10 on that little scale of yours. And it's going to get you hurt, that and all these ideas you have about love. Younger people like you are naive like that. But when you get stabbed in the back don't say I didn't worn you."
Serena turned away from him again. This boy needed some counsoling. "Where in the world did you grow up?" she whispered "earth" he muttered "That explains allot." Well who needs you? I have Tuxedo Mask." He looked sharply up, but she didn't notice. Who really cared about stinky old Darien? That was Anna's problem. She looked into the darkening sky at the nights first stars, wondering where Tuxedo Mask could be. Wondering if he was thinking about her.
~*~*~*~"Oh this is so much fun!" Serena giggled
"I'm glad you're enjoying yourself." Tuxedo Mask smiled Her had was in his and they were flying through the clouds, bubbles floating all around them. Slowly they glided to a stop on a very tall cloud. Serena slipped a bit, but he caught her. They stood their for a moment, his hands on her waist. Tuxedo Mask leaned in to kiss her.
Suddenly a fit of musical laughter shattered the moment. Serena looked up to see Amber puling out a long sword. With one swift movement she thrust it through Tuxedo Mask. "No!" Serena cried, throwing herself onto the lifeless body as it hit the ground "no, not my Tuxedo Mask. Don't go! I don't even know your name! Please don't go!" Amber was laughing at her "Oh Serena" she taunted "Serena, Serena wake up!"
