| Moomin is the son of Moominmamma and Moominpappa. His friends are Sniff, Snufkin, Little My, the snork maiden and many others. He likes adventure like his father, Moominpappa. |

| This is Moominpappa. He is married to Moominmamma, they met when he rescued her from the sea and it was love at first sight. They live in Moominhouse with their son, Moomintroll. Moominpappa loves the sea and one lived a 'wicked life' with the Hattifatteners sailing. |

| Moominmamma is married to Moominpappa and her son is Moomintroll. She is very warm and loving, and everyone often goes to her for safety and comfort. She likes to make jam, and normally carries a handbag that isn't pictured here. |

| The Snorkmaiden is a Snork, not to be confused with a Moomin. She and Moomintroll have an ongoing innocent romance (if it can be put that way!). She likes pretty things and is quite obsessed with her appearence and hair. |

| Sniff is Moomin's friend. He lives with them in Moominhouse. Sniff likes Shiny things that are worth alot of money, and are encrusted with jewels or gold or silver. this has got him in trouble quite a few times. His father is the Muddler. |

| This is Snufkin. He is a wanderer and a traveller. His father is the Joxter, and his mother is Mymble. He plays the mouth organ very beautifully, and I want to marry him! (he's mine, grrrr!) |

| This is a Hemulen. There are many different Hemulens. There's the Hemulen bug collector, the Hemulen stamp/botany collector (left), the Hemulen skier, the Hemulen who loved silence, and the Hemulen orphanage mistress, and many more. |
