Pyrenees - Region du Bearn

One of my first images created using Bryce 5. Also my first experiment with Boolean models.

The sphere for the bulb consists of 4 shapes... there's the bottom half, a slightly elongated sphere, and the top half, a perfect sphere, in addition to these - two other shapes remove the parts of each sphere that are not needed.

The only drawback with using such techniques like this, as I found out once the image rendered, was that the join between the upper half and lower half, interferes with the reflections in the glass, thus I did some post work in Photoshop to clean up these joins.

This image took over 18 hours to render, but I think the result was worth it, my only criticism is that the water plane is took flat, sometime in the future I may redo the image with mapping the water onto a wavy landscape.
