| My second attempt at this seacave composition. After my first attempt, in which the water is dark and murky, I thought it would be interesting to create a version with a much lighter, tropical sea. As such, the underwater terrain needed to be much more interesting to view. I've attempted to create the underwater terrain look like areas of sand and areas of rock. Although not shown in this picture (see full size version) on the left hand side I attempted to make two protruding rocks, but which were supposed to look wet. I thought that using a reflective surface would achieve this, but without much success, eventually I used a high specularity level (this imitates the highlighted area on a shiny surface), again not too much success there. Ah well, can only keep trying... |
