COFFEEHOUSE OWNER, 10 GUITARISTS HELD ON NOISE COMPLAINT
Police raided a noisy Hollywood coffeehouse early Sunday and arrested the owner and 10 guitarists on suspicion of conspiracy to commit a public nuisance.� The 2:15 a.m. raid was sparked by repeated complaints from permanent residents of a nearby hotel at 1825 N. Cahuenga Blvd., officers said.� They said they couldn't sleep.� Police identified the owner as Henry T. Harper, 25.� The establishment, The Omnibus, at 1835 N. Cahuenga, was issued a noise abatement notice March 27th by the city attorney's office, and Harper was given until April 1 to correct the nuisance.� Eleven complaints are pending against a co-owner, Michael Raven, of 1841� N. Cahuenga, for alleged failure to obtain a live entertainment license. |
