Let me tell you a little bit about myself and how I came to dwell in my little lagoon. My cyber name is BLUE EYES, yes I am the one from THE PARK 40'S Room, legendary cyber dancer to Eric Clapton's 'Groaning The Blues'. I am also known as MoodyBlueEyes because I am a huge fan of 'The Moody Blues'.
I have been surfing the cyber realm for about twelve years now. I have met some great people, and a few eggheads..*S* I enjoy chatting with people from all over the world, making new friends. I have had the chance to meet some of my friends in 'Real Time' and have found that people do tend to paint a true picture of themselves in the cyber world, as they are just as fun and kind in person as they are online.
I dilly and dally in online auctions, I spend a lot of time over at Ebay, hunting for and selling treasures.
My interests are vast and varied, I am a Pisces, so I am a dreamer with a creative and artistic mind. Hence BLUE'S LAGOON.
Gardening of all sorts,(I love Rocks!), solar systems, legends and mythology, fairy tales, J.R.R.Tolkien's works are a great passion. I am told I am an excellent cook, I learned starting at age 7 standing on a box at the stove. I think cooking is becoming a lost art. I love all mediums of art, from making quilts, drawing, painting, cake decorating, to making things out of 'junk'.
Music is another love, all kinds, some more than others. I love the blues , its such a gritty sexy sound...you can't keep from responding to it.
I have ICQ chat and try to keep up with my friends there as much as I can.
In my uncyber life, I work with developmentally disabled adults at a sheltered workshop. I teach them job skills, living skills, and fun stuff like how to fish, ride a roller coaster( they never scream, I do, hhhmmm..) and how to tackle a wand of cotton candy. Its a great job. To be able to work with such loving sweet people has helped me grow as a person in so many ways.
