| Update: June 24 Hello. Yay it is summer. *does ghetto dance*oh yeah. well today I went on a job hunt with Natasha. I filled out 3 resumes which was fun (NOT!). and we got an interview for KB toys. I really hope that I am hired because I could really use some extra money. I have an orthodontist appointment today at 4 and my retainers totally do not fit. I hope that my mom forgets about. It is already 3:30 and she is not home. She will prob. come home just in time and then yell at me for not being ready. That happens everytime. I was able to read Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix with a day and a half. It was really good. Very emotionally draining. I will REALLY miss the person who died. Honestly, I can not think about it without crying. I LOVED this person who died. Dammit, now I am crying again! Ok, must calm self....... Soo....... it is 9?7 degrees out. Or so says the little icon next to the time on my computer. This weekend I go to Vermont with my parents to look at the University of Vermont. Woo freakin' hoo. I do not think I want to go there. It is VERMONT for Chirst's sake. I want to got to school in a city, not that Vermont does not have cities, I'm it does, and nice ones at that, but it's Vermont! When I think of Vermont I think of maple syrup and lumbber-jacks. And since ?I want to be neither maple syrup or a lumber-jack when I grow up, Vermont U. is out. Pst. Cut to two years from now, I'm getting ready to go there. Oh well! Ok I have updated: Things I like (with a link on TATU to a picture Natasha made) yeah and I tried to upload some music, but that doesn't seem to be working...... |

| Update: July 4 Happy Independence Day. This morning there was a marathon of the cartoon called "Liberty Kids" on PBS. It is about these three kids Sarah, newly from England with her loyalty being pulled apart by the conflict with the colonies; James, the firey adventure seeking patriot; and Henri, the little French boy who really doesn't do much except talk in a French accent. They are all "charges" of Ben Franklin and act as reporters for the Pennslyvania Gazette that Mr. Franklin prints. It is very far- fetched, but there you are. Because the children are "reporters" they get to witness first hand the events of the Revolution such as the Boston Tea Party, the drafting and signing of the Declaration of Independance, Paul Revere's midnight ride, and many more. This show basically idealizes our "forefathers" making it seem really hocky and propagandalistic. However there is some historical significance to it and proves to be very interesting at times, when not overwhelmingly grilled cheesey. It is meant for elementary school kids, so I probably should not me picking it a part for historical accuracy and just overall probablilty. SO anyway, Vermont was really nice. Like everywhere you go there you have a beautiful view of either the Adironacks (sp?) of New York or the Green Mountains of Vermont. Plus Lake Champlain, which is soooooo pretty. Burlington is a really really REALLY nice town. It has great shopping and restaurants and is nice looking to boot. I refuse to call it a city though, it is supposedly the biggest "city" in Vermont, which personally I found very hard to believe. It is barely bigger than twice Westfield's size and has no buildings over 6 stories. My parents tell me I have to stop comparing every city I go to to New York. Vermont only has 600,000 residents. Isn't that CRAZY!!! That is only 20 Westfields, probably alittle less. University of Vermont was unimpressive, though has a vigorous art history course. Ok I have to stop because I am running out of space. I have created S'more Pictures and the day I got Harry Potter. |
