| Rogue grew up near the banks of the Mississippi River. Cody Robbins was the first to witness the appearance of Rogue's mutant abilities when he kissed her. Rogue's mind filled with his memories as he lay unconscious. It was not long after that she realised her mutant ability and that she had no control over it. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| Mystique later used Rogue as a terrorist in the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. Carol Danvers, the original Ms. Marvel went into battle with the Brotherhood and Rogue absorbed her powers and memories. Unfortunately for Rogue, the transfer was permanent and hile gaining Carol's powers, her psyche also left an imprint in Rogue's mind. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| Rogue continually battled with her lack of control over both Carol Danvers psyche and her own mutant ability. Realising that the Brotherhood could not help her, she turned to her enemies, the X-Men. Although, not initially welcomed by all, Professor Charles Xavier allowed her to join the team, where sho soon proved her loyalty. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| Over the years, Rogue has had many adventures. Her passage throught the Siege Perilous, freed her of Carol Danver's psyche. She later formed a relationship with Magneto which ended when he resumed terrorist activities. She then fell in love with fellow X-Man Gambit and has been appointed leader of one X-Men team. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
