Took a train to Gyor, feeling a bit nervous, dunno why. Maybe coz of the frustration of failing to get the Czech visa, maybe coz of the train delay, maybe coz I didn't book anything in Gyor, and I dun even have a map.
Two hours later, after the annoying disturb of the border control people, I arrived Gyor. Carrying my backpack I walked to nowhere. I had a brief check of the map at the train station then off I go. Luckily I found the tourist info. centre, and this really nice Hungarian girl booked a room for me (she's literally called every pension/hotel in town) and gave me two maps for free. Around 2:30pm I found the pension (it's much sooner than I thought, I expect it'd take 1.5 hour or so to get everything done), it's a bit awkward, coz when I first walked in it's empty, nobody's there, then someone saw me, a guy who doesn't look like a staff or owner, I just said I'm referred by the tourist centre, then he nodded and took me upstairs, without checking any of my paper. But as soon as I saw the room, I stop being suspicious!! It's too good to be true!!!! Not to mention the private toilet and shower, there's actually a living room with a sofa, a coffee table, a closet and a 6-feet wide bed!!!! I was so happy I jumped up and down! haha! Though it's pretty expensive maybe too luxurious for a backpacker, but it's totally worth it! I just love it!!!! And since I didn't sleep well last night I took a nice nap on the king-size bed for 4 hours! haha. You see, sometimes money is very useful! haha!I'm now in a restaurant waiting for my first Hungarian dinner. hehe. The restaurant is empty, again I'm the only customer, I guess I came too soon, but I'm really hungry coz I didn't have lunch. This restaurant is just next to the river, so I can see the sunset, umm! It's so beautiful! Very romantic, haha. This really sweet waitress is adding point to the city, and this really tasty but not much dinner certainly brings 10 more points! I am so happy, can you see? ^______^
