This page contains a few links I find useful and/or interesting. I'm no longer the diehard internet surfer of my high school days, but when I do surf, I'm probably at one of the following sites: |
| ucsb.edu | My uni. It's where all the cool and smart people go, or something. |
| cnsi.ucsb.edu | My present place of employment. I actually don't visit this site much, but it may clarify the answer to "Where do you work?" ("California NanoSystems Institute" seems to bewilder people). |
| pwcglobal.com | My future place of employment. I won't plug it anymore than that, but if you are interested in learning why it's such a fabulous firm, hit pwcglobal.com/lookhere, and you are sure to find out! |
| google.com | My search engine. It loads so quickly. Why use anything else? |

frommers.com hotwire.com priceline.com xe.com |
A few of my travel resources. I usually search for airfare and travel tips; my last plane ticket to Japan came from Priceline, and I found some good info on London attractions from Frommers. I've discovered that there is no one site that has the best deals or information, but I can always find something useful among them. By the way, xe.com is a currency converter website - VERY handy. |
| wellsfargo.com | My bank. Go online banking. |
| m-w.com | My writing friend - Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary. I have a miserable command of the English language, so it's nice to have an all-in-one dictionary/thesaurus/spell-check handy (it sure beats thumbing through thousands of pages)! |
| deep thoughts | Everyone needs a little comic relief. Deep Thoughts by Jack Handy provide that relief. I admit they are stupid, but hey, free dummy. |
