MOOBUCKS - Master of Orion 2 Money Cheat

Master of Orion 2:Battle of Antares is a trademark property of
Microprose.

This is a quick and simple money editor I wrote in about an hour while I
was taking a break from playing Microprose's Master of Orion 2: Battle
of Antares. It's not rocket science - all it does is let you change the
cash reserve stored in a saved game file.

This utility is freeware, but I retain all legal rights to the code, the
program, and everything that comes with it - I won't charge you as long
as you don't charge anybody else. You have my permission to upload it
to bulletin boards and the Internet as long as both the README.TXT file
and the MOOBUCKS.EXE file are included without modification in the Zip
archive. If you leave out this README file, you are committing software
piracy. I will find you.

If you got this program off of a CD-ROM, please E-mail me immediately
and I will take legal action against the distributor. By doing so, you
will help keep this kind of software freely available to game players
like us, and out of the hands of the money-grubbing vultures who prey on
us.

Support: There is none. Please don't write to me for game tips, source
code, or hex locations. I plan to write some other MOO2 editors, but
you'll have to wait and see what they are. Meanwhile, this little cheat
has been tested with both Windows 3.1 and Windows 95, and it works fine.
If it doesn't work on your system, I'm sorry but there's not much I'm
willing to do. This is, after all, free. There should be no reason it
won't work on any IBM clone running Windows.

Requirements: You must have a copy of Microprose's Master of Orion 2.
MOOBUCKS will not work with MOO1. Copy this README file and the
MOOBUCKS.EXE file into your ORION2 directory, wherever that may be. It
will only read MOO2 saved game files with an extension of .GAM.

Please remember that giving yourself tons of money could ruin your
enjoyment of the game. You will also make your computer opponents
jealous. You can expect frequent visits from them demanding tribute.
If you refuse, you know the consequences!
