Under 1 week old
Right: Kta finally got to see what mom had been doing the last couple days. She was SO sweet, I had to smile and go AHHH. She had on her own just brought my slipper and a big stuffed teddy bear and put them into the whelping box when no one was watching. They are her two favourite things to carry around but of course the puppies didnt play with them so I think she was a bit disappointed!
Perla on top hugging her brother engill.
Im quite determined and oh so hungry!
Heia already standing on her own two feet.
My nickname is Ma Dgg (ma is a field and dgg means dew). My birth is a funny story :-)
Well now it is!!!  My mom was having a hard time, shed been at it all night and it was already 7:30 in the morning and she was TIRED, nothing seemed to be happening so she decided that she definately needed to go outside for a second and pee! My "grandma" kept a very close eye on mom because she knew I was struggling to come out so when my mom was finished peeing she stood up again and all of a sudden got a contraction and pushed. I popped out right into the hand of my "grandma". I was like a drop of rain that fell into my "grandmas" hand outside in the early morning hours so she said I must be called Dgg!!!
Oh and my real name is most likely going to be Tfra-A Bird in the Hand.
Weve got nicknames, they could change yet. They are all related to hunting except engill. I had thought of calling him Klettur (cliff) or Hengill (a place in Iceland) but engill means King and well he IS the only male dog in the house! The rest are either the name of a mountain or area in Iceland. Left to right top row: Krafla, Esja, Askja or Perla (she has like a string of pearls on her back of brown patches), Glma
Bottom row: engill, Ma Dgg, Heia, Hekla
