The program is built on a book about a spotted zebra who has feelings of being teased and left out because it is different than its friends. Written by an 11 year girl who has died of cancer, the book was found after her death by her parents who decided the message needed to be heard by all children.
Zink the Zebra's web site has games, ideas, and contests for individuals and troops and leaders.
Connecticut Trails will be offering the program in a "program in a box". Our service unit is looking into having our own program kit available for all troops to use.
Although not a program this year for Cadettes and Seniors, this program can be used by older girls to either present the program to younger troops for service hours or can even be used in school or church groups. (Silver and Gold awards?)
