| Toni is a member of the professional Girl Scout staff in New York City. Hopefully, if reading this, Toni, you could send me a list of your wonderful accomplishments, which were mentioned in your introduction. Toni spoke of her research for her book, which is the first historical fiction novel for Girl Scouts. With the success of such books as the Americal Girl series, this book will be loved by many girls. Although geared for older brownies and juniors, this book and especially it's new companion activity book can be used at any age level. What a great gift for a birthday or holiday. It can be used in your troop to celebrate Girl Scout Week, Juliet Gordon Low's Birthday or Women's history month. The activity book is great for ideas that can relate to try-its and badges. My juniors and sister brownie troop have played the centipede game many times. The books can be ordered right from your local council shop or online at the GS web site. Toni is also the author of JOURNEY HOME (PASSAGES TO WOMANHOOD) SERIES. |
