| Chicks in a Basket materials - Colored Foam egg cartons Very large cotton balls (two per chick) Black construction paper for eyes Yellow construction paper for beak Strawberry baskets Easter grass glue, scissors Cut foam egg carton cups. Cut each cup with a zig zag edge. You need two cups per chick. Fluff up the cotton balls and glue together. Glue a cup to the top and to the bottom of the cotton balls. Cut a yellow paper beak for each chick and two black paper eyes for each. Glue on cotton balls. Fill basket with grass and place chicks in basket. Two or three chicks for each basket if the pint size. This leave a little room for a small treat. |
