Uncle Simon's, Suwanee

Here's Uncle Les hanging out with Estelle, Edwin, and Brian. They were talking about computer stuff.

The kids had grown up a lot and Brian is taller than me now. Edwin is into a lot of the same hobbies I was into at his age. Estelle showed me her flute playing skills and it was nice being able to talk to all of them.

Well in October 2002 I headed down to see my Grandma and most of my mom's family who all live in Georgia. I took a lot more photos than what I have here, but this is it for now.

Diana made a cameo and posed with Edwin and Brian for this picture.
Uncle Simon's, Suwanee

Here in clockwise order from bottom left are Uncle Simon, Uncle Young-Key, my mom, Aunt Morgan, Uncle Les, and my Grandma, all circled around Rilee.

Everyone, especially Grandma, was happy to have everyone together again.

Here's one of the family pics I took. Uncle Simon's wife and Mother-in-law worked hard for two days on the huge dinner they laid out for everyone.

Diana, bailed after eating dinner.

Here she is laughing at all the aunts who were asking why she was running off so early.

Like any cool, hip student of the pimp society (that's what her shirt says), she has a lot of stuff to do at night.
Atlanta Airport

Well, as usual, my trip was far too short, and after a week, it was time to head back.

Before I left, I had this meal at Paschal's, a soul food franchise in the South. I'm not a huge Southern food or Soul food lover, but its kinda a once in a lifetime thing. Here's some fried chicken, collared greens, fried okra, and cornbread muffins.
Fashion Show Mall, Las Vegas

After my trip to Georgia, I went back to Vegas to rest for a day before my trip to Korea.

Here I am at the Fashion Show.
Tofu Restaurant, Las Vegas

I can't remember the name of this L.A. style tofu restaurant, but I had a little time in Vegas so I met up with Suk Hyun Jeong, a friend from UNLV. He had just gotten off of work at the Bellagio, and even though he didn't want me to take his picture, I promised to put it on the web.

Well, that's it for now.
