12/09/02 everything you never wanted to know about people who aren't me: the page.
10/19/02 good lord. it's almost christmas again. i swear, somebody must have redefined the month, since i seem to keep losing track of them. nothing new to comment on, really. i am back in school now, part time, and classes are going quite well thankyaverymuch. i had to drop the 'drop shadow' filter on the text on this page - seems that winXP's cleartype doesn't like it at all. if you have no idea what i just said, you're probably in the 95% majority of the population, don't sweat it.
i'd promise good things coming to this space in the near future, but we all know how likely that is. nobody who promises 'big things' ever delivers, so i'll keep it at this - side projects coming out the yin yang, if i actually see one through to completion, you'll know about it. werd.
9/10/02 wow! i got listed! send some good karma their way, folks.
8/15/02 i've linked in my 'other' portfolio (which, by the way, totally craps out on a mac. i don't even want to think netscape. i play by the rules at work. i can break them at home, dammit!) i forgot, this was supposed to be my 'home page' and i was supposed to have a separate page for my portfolio. sigh. sometimes, you just get so wrapped up in things, eh?
8/08/02 oh boy. that image on the right is pretty damn close to how i feel right now. add drool running down the side of my face, and i think you've got it. after way, way, way too many hours spent on this thing, i have a Redesign™.
i think i must have redone the nav at least three times. i like the broken glass idea, but doing the lighting by hand makes me want to weep openly. inflicted upon myself, you say... well.. yeah. sigh.
as those of you with an eye for detail have no doubt figured out, yeah, i hand-painted this in photoshop. i've done it a few times lately, here being one of my favorite. i love photos, but sometimes the extra effort is worth it. sometimes it's not. most of the time you're insane for even thinking about doing it.
make sure not to miss my portfolio.
