1. Annie: - Sir, do you know where we can find the Ruler of the Seas?

Pirate - In the palace on Saint Mark’s Square!

Annie: - The Ruler! Do you know where he lives?

Jack:  - I’ll look up Saint Mark’s Square. Ok, let’s see. We’re here. And we want to go to Saint Mark’s Square. It’s really close.

Annie: - Where’s that?

Pirate - What?

7. Annie: - Yeah. And it looks like everyone else is headed there, too.

1. Annie: - There’s the palace door!

Guard: - Begone, clown!

Annie: - I’ll find out. Excuse me, sir. Is the ruler of Venice inside the palace now?

Jack: - Is he a real guard? Or is that just a costume?

Guard: - Go! Both of you! Or else!

Jack:  - She’s not really a clown. We’re on a mission. We…

Annie: - But it’s important. We need to talk to him about something.

Guard: - I said begone! I am tired of clowns wasting my time!
