Was saddened to hear of Nelson Hall's death. I met Nelson doing "Hello Dolly!" as the high school musical in 1973. He was a sweet and quiet guy with a wonderful smile and a booming baritone voice. He was incredible in the Louie Armstrong role.
We had a number of conversations and they almost always turned at some point to his faith in God. The Nelson I remember had a deep Christian faith that I pray was a confort for him all of his life.
Earth's loss is heaven's gain...
