Picking the nobility out of a crowd is never hard. Why is that you wonder? Let's face it, clothing is a direct indication of wealth. The colors, fabrics, patterns, and accessories you wear reflect your social status. This cannot be avoided because of the cost of fashion today. Here are a few hints for looking fashionably noble this season.

Purple and crimson are in-style. They are the two colors above all others that show nobility. Unfortunately, to achieve the look properly you must be rich. Because of the tedious process to create these colors, they are very hard to come by. We suggest you darken your reds and blues as much as possible to mimic these tones.

Ruffs are a must this season! As it is with all styles this year, the bigger the better! A fashionable ruff must be very wide, so wide that it may become difficult to eat dinner. Here's a little advice when creating your ruff...
Split your ruff in the front to make eating easier. For an added bonus, frame the ruff to expose more cleavage!
Starch your ruff heavily or place pasteboards in the folds to keep it full. You may also want to use wood or bone in the starched folds.

Necklaces and pendants should be worn at all times. The most popular jewel at the moment is pearl. You can accent your outfit by adding many strings of pearls of varying lengths and sizes.
