Meeting began at 7:00 PM.
Present were: Glenn Bishop, Ashley Bishop, Allan Pope, Don Cranfill, Joyce Cranfill, Bill Hunyadi, Glenn Savage, Nancy Savage, Gary Laurent, Tom Schwartz, Brad Ozee, and Mark Reitz
Minutes for 6-7-07 were accepted as amended, to read �Dave Jenkins� (in attendance) on 6-7-07, on a motion by Don Cranfill, seconded by Bill Hunyadi. Motion passed unanimously by voice vote.
Turn your ticket stubs and money in to Glenn Bishop soon. It will help to have ticket sale money on hand to buy items for the banquet.
Treasurer�s Report: The treasury balance is $1,232 with $6807 due to us from completed grants for the years 2005 and 2006. The money is expected,�soon�.
Tom Schwartz reported on the Habitat Wheel Initiative. An August 6th meeting was discussed. An attempt is being made to involve the area FFA�s in assisting in signing up for Roadside for Wildlife. DNR will pay for labor and seed and planning. Local PF will donate to FFA. Three sections in a 360 degree radius around the Cranfill Habitat Area will be included in the Habitat Wheel Initiative.
Glenn Bishop requested that Glenn Savage reserve a hall (Lion�s, Taylor Springs, Moose, or small area in KC) for the Habitat Wheel Initiative Introduction Meeting. The meeting will begin at 6:00 PM, August 6th. A �Ladies� Gift� and a Shotgun are to be the door prizes.
Discussion was held regarding shirts for Banquet Committee members. It was decided that green long sleeve shirts would be ordered for those who traditionally received them in the past, plus new members.
The 2007 Survey was circulated and arrangement made for their printing. Tom Schwartz suggested that it be announce that signed surveys turned in before the end of the banquet would make a member eligible for a door prize.
Next meeting is planned for Thursday, August 2nd .
