The Monterey Property Owners Association (MPOA) was formed in 1994 according to the Subdivision Ordinances for St. Tammany Parish and because, "Protective covenants are essential to the sound development of proposed residential areas." Furthermore, "Protective covenants being agreements between private parties can go much further in meeting the needs of a particular neighborhood and in providing maximum possible protection." The mission of the MPOA is to administer the business of the neighborhood and to maintain overall and individual property values through strict enforcement of the Covenants and Deed Restrictions.

The Board of Directors meets monthly on the 2nd Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. The meetings are open to property owners and invited guests. If you would like to put your email address on a list to receive a copy of the neighborhood newsletter please send an email to: [email protected]
