Toons N' Games
I'm an Old School cartoon fanatic!  Cartoons are an 'As long as I can remember' kinda thing too, as with you all I'm sure.  From Fleischer to Disney to Anime, I love it all!
Toons
Old Skool!
My mom & I loved Fleischer cartoons.  Betty is a classic she's on my key chain.  My favorite Betty cartoon is 'Snow White.'  Cab Calloway lends his voice to Koko the clown to sing, 'St. James Infirmary.'  It's Awesome!  Calloway did a lot of work with Fleischer studios; including working on a projects using the award winning  rotoscope(the old school original blue screen).  Calloway was filmed doing a dance routine and later the animation was drafted over the filmed movements.   Their animation became super life like. ='s Super Awesome!
Technically I'm affraid of clowns thanks to Stephen King, but Koko the clown is the only clown I can look at, period.  B-I-M-B-O Bimbo!  Bimbo is a Fleischer fave as well.  My Fave from him is 'Bimbo's Initiation.'  Other Fleischer favorites include Popeye and Superman.  The
Fleischer family was Disney's #1 rival.  They were often perceived as racy and very adult.  But the truth of it was these toons were made for adult entertainment and were shown at night.  The racy themes were never too obvious to children.  In the mid-thirty's the Hays code was enacted and their distinct style was severly muted.  Betty was givin a full length dress!  Oh, the humanity!
So 80's!
Jem was just about the only 'Girly' thing I've ever liked.  How can you not love something so 'OUTRAGEOUS'!?  My favorite Hologram was Jem and Pizazz, my favorite Misfit.

Song Favorites (there's much more than this but....)
'I've got my eye on you'- Holograms
'Congratulations'- Misfits
'Glitter and Gold'-  Holograms
'Only the Beginning'- Holograms
'I Like Your Style"- Misfits
I don't remember much about the Popples I just know I had one.  Moving on,  Teddy Ruxspin was a huge part of my little kiddie world.  I had the story telling bear doll and the bedtime lullaby video, coloring books, and cassette's of music from the show. Awesome!  Does anyone remember 'Surfing Grundo'?
NOW ON TO THE 90'S!
