P O E T R Y
WITHOUT YOU

Like a ship lost at sea, Im wandering aimlessly
Drifting around without a home
Looking for a place to lay my head
Why am I doomed to roam
Im looking for a place to call my own
But somehow I know its not to be found
Im looking for a place that doesnt exist
Ill spend my life just running around
But then I met a man who showed me you
You took me in and called me your child
You changed my life and I owe it to you
Cause never again will I have to run wild
Well what would I do without you
Where would I be? Like a ship at sea
In the middle of a storm
But with you, Im safe at home in your arms
Now Im living my life for only you
The fear is gone and the hurt is too
Youre everything I need and all I want is you
Now I thank the Lord for sending me you.
