Saturday Horror #79 - The Tournament Continues...

SATURDAY HORROR #79

Streams of light glimmered through the barriers of the announcer room's windows, and lit up the entire room in a figment of beauty. It's been a while since the sun was raised high in the sky and bathed Battle Island in all its beauty and wonders. Normally a cold gust of wind would blow gently across its landscape and the sky would be filled in perpetual darkness.

"Ah, don't you just love it?" Tomzilla said while looking out the window at the battle fields below. Millions of fans were already present in the stands and covered every inch of the cloister of seats that surrounded the battlefields.

"Of course I do," DDB muttered, "I wouldn't be here if I didn't."

"I for one am starting to miss the dark atmosphere," Montyzilla gestured, "It always brought the shear magnitude of violence out of the monsters."

Tomzilla nodded but turned back to the beautiful sight of wonder and mystery.

"This truly is a fantasy come true. Never before in the history of mankind has such a thing been done." Tomzilla continued, "In yet here we are, in the 21st century; with modern day technology at our disposal and the greatest life forms on the planet it, duking it out. In yet�wherever there is beauty and wonder, there is darkness and despair lurking in the shadows."

DDB sighed while nodding his head.

Montyzilla just shrugged.

"But alas," Tomzilla said softly, "The show must begin and we are on a tight schedule and this is the 79th, MWF Saturday Horror show and let's make it one of the best. We still have a Kaiju Tournament to run!"

In the backstage area, Bagan is ordering Gelynn and Heldarr to finish up whatever hostilities they have towards any other monsters.

"I don't care what they did to you!" Began roared as Gelynn protested that there were many Kaiju that he felt need to be taught a lesson.

"Listen you two!" Bagan roared at his loyal if somewhat nebbish followers, "We have big things in store ahead of us and when those things begin to take shape I'm going to need you both to be of a single mindset. And what that means is you have to do exactly what you're told when you're told to do it. I can't have you two going around all caught up with these other feuds that pale in comparison to what lays ahead for us. Do I make myself clear?"

Gelynn and Heldarr both kicked at the ground with their heads down like scolded children and answered in unison, "Yes sir."

Bagan was not without a measure of understanding. Gelynn and Heldarr were powerful and proud monsters and did feel the need to teach some others a lesson. Bagan threw them a bone, "Listen, do whatever you have to do against any current feuds you have going. But don't start anything more because there isn't time."

"Really?" the two said hopeful now they would be allowed to go kill, maim and destroy their enemies."

Bagan smirked and said, "Yeah! Really! Go out there and kick some ass and show whoever it is you have a beef with just who they are messing with."

The two demonic creatures exited chatting about just who was going to suffer their wraith first and how. Bagan smiled inwardly pleased he had two such vicious monsters so loyal to himself.

DDB took the mic and began the announcing for the next match.

Our next Kaiju match up pits two created monsters against each other in the city battle ground. Entering from the right stomping his way through buildings is none other than TITANO GOJI!

DDB turns to Tomzilla and asks, "Speaking of Titano Goji, where is he anyway, the announcer human being not the monster? I sort of do miss the little butt kissing guy"

"I'd rather no discuss it." TZ snaps "By the way did you pick up my dry cleaning?"

DDB sighs, "Yes I picked up your dry cleaning AND washed your can PLUS de-grouted your shower." Then mutters to himself, "BOY do I miss Titano Goji!"

Now back to the match here is the other half of it�IVANGELLIS!

The two roar their dislike at each other and close in but both go to the firing of their weapons first. Ivangelis fires a blast from his electrically charged horn and it hit TG in the chest just as he himself fires his arm mounted titan blaster that explodes on Ivangelis' side. The monster with the body of a lion and the head of an eagle falls over to his side taking a small building with him.

Titano Goji changes in and grabs the long spiral horn jutting from the eagle like head and lifts Ivangelis right off the ground showing tremendous power. He then body slams the fantastic looking monster back and fourth smashing buildings while smashing Ivangelis at the same time.

Ivangelis has had enough of this it would seem and through the horrible pain his body feels he powers up the electrical energy and sends it coursing through the horn Titano Goji has hold of. Electrical sparks sizzle and crack as the high amps and volts go through the horn and into Titano Goji's hands. The massive beast howls out in startled pain and surprise and lets go. He falls over to his back with fingers of electricity still swarming all over his reptilian hide. While he's writhing about in pain Ivangelis compounds his problems by raking him from head to toe with the powerful angel beams fired from his glowing eyes.

In sheer desperation Titano Goji kicks wildly and throws a great clod of dirt and concrete up into the eagle like eyes stopping the beam attack and making Ivangelis stagger back trying to clear his vision. It's the oldest trick in the book but it worked for Titano Goji who now goes on the offensive. He strikes Ivangelis across the body with a powerful backhand then topples him over with a side hip toss. He straddles the back and reaches down and grabs the left arm giving it a cruel twist and yank. The dull popping, snapping sounds of a dislocating joint id plainly heard and Ivangelis roars out in agony as his shoulder is not just dislocated but also broken. His arm flops uselessly to his side and he slumps forward face into the dirt.

Titano Goji turns his attention to the legs now and grabs both ankles and spreads them wide apart. Ivangelis is squealing in torment agony as Titano Goji begins to rip his legs off. More dull crunching noises of snapping hip bones are drowned out by the now high pitched screeches of pure agony coming from Ivangelis' throat. So brutal is Titano Gojia's attack that he not only broke the bones but actually came close to ripping the mighty legs right off the body and dark red streams of blood trickle down the sides of the hips where they almost came off. Things look bleak for Ivangelis now as he can't even move!

Titano Goji reaches down to administer more punishment and one can only wonder what else he can do to the poor beast. But its clear now as he grabs the long horn and doesn't give Ivangelis a chance to electrify it. With a resounding "SNAP!" he breaks off the long horn at its base as blood jets out from the stump in Ivangelis' forehead.

With a roar of victory Titano Holds the long horn up then plunges it down using both hands impaling Ivangelis through the back with his very own horn. The spiral horn goes all the way through the body and red blood spreads in a slick, wet pool below the monster's chest. Titano Goji roars again and steps away looking at the devastated beast before him.

But somehow Ivangelis is not finished and calls upon his only remaining weapon, his psychic ability. From out of nowhere comes a train taker car loaded with liquid hydrogen and �.KABOOM! The train car explodes across Titano Goji's face blinding him momentarily. As he staggers back the engine of the train is hurled by the power of Ivangelis' mind right into TG's head stunning him and knocking him over. Now two radio transmitter towers come flying above Titano Goji as he lies with arms outstretched in spread eagle form. The two towers turn in midair and point downward then zip into the ground going straight through both hands of the beast.

Titano Goji struggles but is pinned for the moment. Then with the last of his psychic ability Ivangelis makes the horn in his own body pull free. He shucks off the pain as it pulls up from his back. He sends the long, spiral horn over and it hovers above Titano Goji with its pointed, blood soaked tip directly above Titano Goji's fear filled eyes. With one last move the horn is sent downward.
Titano Goji screams in pure horror but it is too late and the falling horn silences the horrific scream by punching right through the monster's mouth and out the back of his head sinking deep into the pavement beneath.

Here is your winner by psychic death blow�IVANGELIS!

Gigantis, Zone Fighter, Anguirus, and Gorosaurus are playing cards until Jet Jaguar burst in with Varan, Baragon, and Titanosaurus.

"OK" says JJ "I know I must have seemed like a real jerk last week."

"First class ass is more like it!" said Gorosaurus.

"OK, I guess I had that one coming Goro�good one. But I'm here today to say I'm sorry about all that happened last week and nobody deserves an apology more than Gigantis and Zone fighter." Jet Jaguar looks at those two and asks, "What about it guys? Let bygones be bygones and let me take you out for a drink."

"You've got to be kidding!" screamed Anguirus. "Take it easy pal" said Gigantis. Maybe the guy is sincere." Zone Fighter agrees and they both leave with their unlikely host leaving Gorosaurus and Anguirus very upset still not convinced at Jet Jaguar's real intentions.

Goro and Angy have reason to feel as they do because no sooner do Gigantis and Zone Fighter get behind closed doors than they are both knocked out cold by clubbing blows to the back of the head. JJ and his sneaky associates leave them laughing with delight at their easy trickery of the trusting duo.

Gorosaurus and Anguirus go out for a drink on their own when Angy notices JJ and company ambling down the street without Gigantis and Zone Fighter. The two try to figure out where their friends are and check the only place that wasn't very public. Gorosaurus flips on a light and they find the unconscious forms of their friends. After reviving Gigantis and Zone Fighter. Anguirus says, "I told you not to trust them!" Gigantis and Zone Fighter realize they were foolish and the four begin to make plans for future.

DDB picked up his headset and began to announce another match.

Up next we have a battle between two more outstanding and world famous created monsters. The battlefield will be the glacier setting and it will feature none other than that dastardly bad guy �GELYNN and that high flying blue skinned peranodon�AERO RODAN!

Both monsters come soaring in at each other at mach five at least. This promises to be one heck of a high flying affair. You might think Aero Rodan has the advantage in the sky but Gelynn is none too bad up there himself.

Aero Rodan fires a blast of his heat beam from his pointed beak lined with razor sharp teeth. But Gelynn fires a blast of his own plasma ray and the two monsters keep their beams firing as the energy rays collide in the air between the two soaring beasts. The energy beams of both seem to neutralize the other and the rays appear to come to a stop in a bright orange ball of exploding energy. The energy appears to grown in intensity. I wonder how long this can go on becau��
KAPOW!

The energy build up was too great I guess because the glowing orange ball just exploded into a huge fireball. The resulting explosion sent both Kaiju falling from the sky. With terrifying force Aero Rodan slams into an icy mountain and makes the rocks of ice fall down all around him as he slides to a resting point at the base of the mountain with the ice boulders burying under thousands of tons of rubble.
Meanwhile Gelynn doesn't fair much better and his massive form smashes through a frozen section of lake sending him plunging into the frigid cold water below. I wonder if even these powerful creatures could withstand that sort of fall into the icy cold.

Hold on a minute Aero Rodan shows he's still alive as he fires a bolt of energy up from his icy tomb and melts his way to the surface using his heat beam. He gets to the open air and takes flight flapping his wing looking battered but still ready for action�.incredible!

And in much the same way Gelynn busts through the ice cap of the lake and roars that he too is ready for battle.

And battle is exactly what Aero Rodan gives him by swooping in from the back and blasting Gelynn with his energy beam. Gelynn roars in pain at the sudden attack and pitches forward into the iceberg filled water as the blue Rodan soars past at high speed turning around in a nifty midair maneuver to come back in for another strike.

Gelynn rises back out of the water just in time to get a face full if energy ray as well as Aero Rodan's clawed feet in his head! With his feet talon impaled in Gelynn's head Aero Rodan drags Gelynn through the water till his back is slammed hard against the icy shoreline. Gelynn begins to slump back into the water but Aero Rodan appears to want to have his enemy visible and hauls him not only up but out of the water and into the air.

Gelynn thrashes wildly as he's pulled through the sky by means other than himself but Aero Rodan has built up momentum and he uses it to hurtle Gelynn backwards into an ice mountain. Gelynn hits the solid wall with tremendous force and he lets out a loud roar of pain from the impact. Aero Rodan flies off and Gelynn remains up against the wall for a moment then slowly peels off leaving a disgusting red bloody blotch marring the white ice on the wall.

Gelynn weakly staggers to his feet trying to act brave in the face of some tremendous pain. But Aero Rodan swoops right down after him not showing any sign of mercy. Aero Rodan lets out a screech he is so thrilled to be dominating an opponent like Gelynn and dives in for the kill.

But Gelynn is far from finished and as his enemy dive bombs him Gelynn feigns being hurt much worse than he really is. Aero Rodan is about to let loose with another atomic barrage when Gelynn suddenly turns and whips a long arm out and actually spears Aero Rodan through the chest. He uses the flying dinosaur's own momentum to send his head over heels to land flat on his back with his massive wings outstretched to each side.

Aero Rodan is panting and blue blood oozes from the gaping hole in his chest as Gelynn slowly comes in to finish him off. Aero Rodan flaps to try to get airborne again but Gelynn smashes a heavy claws foot down across the throat keeping the blue dinosaur right where he is. Gelynn then reaches down and grabs Aero Rodan's beak in one hand while grasping the back of the pointed head in to the other. Then with strength from all his evil sources and letting loose with a roar that could have come straight from the burning depths of Hell Gelynn twists the head in both directions and the sound of Aero Rodan's neck breaking is audible miles away.

Gelynn lets the twisted and now limp head of Aero Rodan fall to the ground as blue blood spreads across the white ice from the massive maw of the flying dinosaur. The eyes are now blank as charcoal briquettes, dead and unseeing.

BACKSTAGE:

Anguirus says, "Listen Gorosaurus, I hate to do this but I have to leave you o go compete in the tournament. You're going to be alone protecting Gigantis and Zone Fighter."

"Don't worry about me", Goro says I secured some back up. Up steps King Kong, MechniKong, Gorgo and Rhedosaur. "See?" Gorosaurus says, "I'll be fine. Now all you have to worry about is kicking Ghidrah's ass! Now go!"

Satisfied all is well Anguirus leaves for the tournament

"Next up is another in our series of tournament matches. It features two classic Kaiju GHIDRAH and ANGUIRUS!

The battle is set to take place in the dock area. Plodding along the water's edge is the familiar spiked dinosaur with all those wicked horns and claws, the one, the only the ferocious Anguirus! He lets loose with his high pitched almost mournful sounding cry but that roar has shaken even the stoutest of Kaiju hearts.
Approaching from the sky is Ghidrah. The gold three headed dragon comes to a ground shaking landing. As soon as he lands all three heads begin firing gravity beams that streak this way and that ripping up everything they touch. Fortunately for Anguirus none of them hit him as Ghidrah is notoriously the worst shot in the Kaiju world despite his triple headed threat. Dock cranes explode, ships at dock explode, warehouses explode and through that wall of flaming mass comes the golden dragon roaring his high pitches chortle. But Anguirus doesn't appear to be impressed by Ghidrah's pyrotechnics. He simply launches himself backwards in his patented back flip aiming his spike filled back at the space dragon and with devastating force he slams right into the wide chest and flattens Ghidrah to his back.

Angy rolls aside and chomps his great fanged mouth down onto Ghidrah's leg and actually lifts him up and hurls him through the air to go crashing into a warehouse. Whatever they had stored in there must have been really flammable because it just exploded in one massive fireball. And through the noise, smoke and flame come the anguished cries of a wounded Ghidrah. Yet Ghidrah manages to get to his feet and comes limping out of the rubble. His leg is wounded and bleeding and his chest is slick with his blood but he still has tons of fight left in him. Once again he fires his gravity beams in wild arcs but this time one actually hits and hits Anguirus right in the eye with painful results as the spiked dinosaur's eyeball burst with a spray of blood.

Anguirus roars in pain then charges his attacker like the fearless warrior he his and always will be! He lowers his head and rams his horn covered head right into Ghidrah's stomach sinking the long horns deep into the belly of the dragon. Ghidrah roars in agony and fires his beams downward at pointblank range even he cannot miss but they hit nothing but the spiked carapace and do no damage.

Anguirus shakes his head around ripping Ghidrah's guts apart and Ghidrah appears to be weakening as his squeals of abject agony increase in octave. But Ghidrah in not done and reaches his middle head down and clamps it onto Angy's neck and sinks his long fangs in deep. Then Ghidrah flaps his huge wings and takes flight as the wind from his wings create hurricane like force across the ruined dock. Ghidrah lifts himself and Anguirus who sill has his spiked head embedded in his belly higher and higher into the sky. With great strength Ghidrah's middle head pulls Angy's head from his body. Anguirus' head is covered with blood and chunks of gore from deep inside Ghidrah's gut and the gaping wound weeps blood in torrents but Ghidrah manages to fly higher. Then at about 6000 feet Ghidrah's middle head releases its hold on Anguirus' neck letting the massive dinosaur free fall.

Anguirus lets out his distinctive cry as he plummets headfirst to earth powerless to do anything but watch the ground get bigger and bigger by the second till suddenly�

WHAM!

Anguirus hits headfirst and hits the ground with such force he creates a massive crater so big that only his hand legs and tail stick out kicking weakly. The wounded Ghidrah lands next to him and pulls him from the crater by his feet. Once Anguirus is free the damage from the fall is visible as his head has been driven into his body forcing it right under the carapace. He looks like Gamera with his head retracted. The only problem is Anguirus can't retract his head! With a neck full of shattered vertebrae this fight is over. Here is your winner�GHIDRAH!

But Ghidrah isn't done and turns Anguirus over exposing his soft underbelly and begins to stomp and claw the hell out of it torturing the already near dead dinosaur.

King Kong and his three friends take off to help when Gorosaurus says that he'll be OK all alone.
Ghidrah sees King Kong, MechniKong, Rhedosaur and Gorgo coming after him and beats a hasty retreat. The four tend to a badly beaten Anguirus who weakly mumbles out his thanks.

But with Gorosaurus now alone his enemies take advantage of him and he gets jumped by Varan, Titanosaurus, and Baragon. The three are brutal in their attack and assault the great dinosaur with tooth and claw till Gorosaurus is left beaten and clawed to a bloody pulp. He's been taken literally to the brink of death.

BACKSTAGE:

As Bagan commanded Gelynn and Heldarr so off to settle scores and the first one they want settled is with Godmera and Gameron they find the duo in the locker area and open a challenge. But just as the fight is about to occur in walk another tag team of Miereki and Putricus

"Hey Gelynn" Shouts Putricus "we want a piece of you and your little dog too! We want a title match."

"Too late" says Godmera, "we just got one and its taking place right here and right now."

Putricus and Miereki look at each other already knowing what the other is thinking and Miereki says, "How about making it a triple threat match for the titles?"

The other four consider it and it is quickly agreed to. There will be three way tag team title match right there in the locker area. Other monsters clear out of the way to allow the six monsters free reign of the space and they all collide together in a massive brawl. Roars, squeals curse words ensue as they tear into each other. The locker room is soon slick with blood of various colors and bits of Kaiju flesh.

THE ANNOUNCER'S BOOTH:

"I hardly know what to be talking about. That fight in the back is incredible but we have another tournament match to get to as well." Says DDB.

"Do the tourney match it was scheduled." Says Tomzilla

"OK here we go with another tournament match. Its between two more monsters from the created side that dinosaur combo FUSION and the massive and highly dangerous KING SCORPION."

The battle area is the grasslands because we seem to be running out of battle zones. The two monsters signal they are ready to begin and Fusion lowers his triceratops head and charges his opponent but King Scorpion is incredibly agile and easily dodges aside making a swipe of his poisonous tail at Fusion's back as he passes but the deadly tip strikes Fusion's ankylosaur back and doesn't penetrate.

Fusion swipes his clubbed tail back at KS but the big scorpion leaps over it like a kid jumping rope on a playground. He then darts in at Fusion aiming to sink his tail stinger into Fusion's only really vulnerable spot, his underbelly. But Fusion sees the move coming and lashes out with his T-Rex foot and kicks KS in the face sending him sprawling Fusion turns around and begins hammering downward with his huge clubbed tail aiming to smash the great scorpion THUMP! WHAM! WHACK! The great tail hits nothing but ground over and over as King Scorpion seems to dodge the attacks with relative ease. King Scorpion times his move perfectly and catches Fusion's tail on the following strike in his big pincers. King Scorpion then begins to twirl around in a circle taking Fusion around and around by the tail till the massive beast actually lifts off the ground. When KS thinks he's built up enough momentum he lets go and send Fusion flying through the air with a roar of astonishment only to go crashing to earth. Fusion's long horns catch the ground and make him to all sorts of wild flips as his rolls across the grassy landscape to come to a stop flat on his back.

Fusion struggles to right himself much like a turtle might and he's still dizzy too as King Scorpion leaps upon him with his stinger poised to strike. A drop of the caustic, flesh dissolving acid forms at the tip of the stinger as it plunges downward at Fusion's soft belly meat. But in desperation Fusion grabs hold of the stinging tail and holds it away from puncturing him. The drop of poison falls off and hits Fusion's stomach sizzling and hissing making vapors rise up and Fusion roars in pain from just one drop. He knows if he gets stung and takes hundreds of gallons of the stuff he's finished.

King Scorpion knows he's near victory and tries to distract Fusion's grip on his tail by using his wickedly sharp pincers to inflict more damage. He raises them up and clicks the long, pointed pincers in the air before lunging them down stabbing Fusion on either side of his stomach. Fusion roars in pain but knows he can take the stab wounds but mist keep the stinging tail at bay. He grimaces as he feels great pain in his abdomen then summons up all his might and with a loud CRACK he actually snaps King Scorpion's tail off.
Caustic, acid poison that was in the tail already for infection goes spraying all over the place and Fusion's body takes lots of burning hits from it but he avoided actual penetration. Now with the tail in his hands he quickly makes use of it and rams King Scorpion through the eye with his very own stinger.
King Scorpion fall to his back squealing in pain and Fusion falls forward across him and gets the winning pinfall.

"Here is your winner, by pinfall and advancing to the next round of the tournament�FUSION!"

The entire backstage area seemed to shudder from the three-way brawl of MWF's most powerful created monster tag-teams. Locker rooms were engulfed in fiery explosions, doors were incinerated by scalding blasts, and the walls fell from where they stood from the collision between the monsters being thrown against it.

"You will die!" Gelynn hissed as his organic tentacles wrapped themselves around Godmera's throat and lifted the mutant hybrid high in the air, and slammed him head first into the wall. Godmera's body slid down the slopes of the wall and left a visible imprint of his skull's collision with astound itself, behind. "Too easy," Gelynn snorted until Gameron's plasma fireball detonated against his armor and knocked him off his feet.

Heldarr snarled and slashed his dagger like claws at Putricus, who snarled in response and speared the demonic hound to the ground. But even Putricus's strength failed to keep Heldarr against the ground and with a fearsome howl; Heldarr knocked Putricus off of him and sent a torrent of his terra beam at the dragon. Putricus snarled and his eyes blazed with all his fury as Heldarr's scolding blast washed across his scaly form. Flames churned in Putricus jaws and released a vile stream of fire that was strong enough to sweep Heldarr off his feet. The demonic hound of darkness flew un-willingly down the hallway and collided with the wall itself, and then fell into the ground; out-cold.

Miereki was hovering off the ground and stared coldly into Gelynn's lifeless eyes. Even the ground beneath the psychic kaiju began to shudder from the awesome power that dwelled in Miereki's mind. A telekinetic orb formed in Miereki's palms and with the twist of the wrist, Miereki threw the orb at Gelynn. Gelynn's wings folded out and flapped with raw power. Gelynn lifted off the ground, bounced his feet off the side wall, and flipped to his left; narrowly avoiding the telekinetic orb of energy that passed by him. Miereki cursed in anger as the orb collided with an opponent he never intended for it to hit, Godmera. Godmera rose to his feet and released a barrage of plasma fireballs that were only stopped by a telekinetic barrier. Miereki and the fallen Putricus stood cautiously behind the barrier, as Godmera's plasma fireballs guided themselves down the hallway and detonated against the shield.

As the hallway illuminated from Godmera's searing fireballs, Gameron soon joined his partner. Miereki shook his head and looked down at Putricus, who was regaining consciousness.

"I will not be able to hold their attacks much longer," Miereki said telepathically.

"Then might I suggest�" Putricus began to say until he stopped.

"Suggest what?"

"�I suggest you prepare for pain."

Miereki turned to see Gelynn jump up behind Godmera and Gameron, and released a blazing energy ball that was not intended to hit the shield. Instead it hit the ground in front of the shield and like a guide missile, it continued to sear beneath the ground until it stopped beneath the ground in which Miereki and Putricus stood, and detonated. Miereki and Putricus were knocked up against the ceiling and fell to the ground. Miereki's telekinetic barrier faded and soon both monsters were engulfed in all the fury of Godmera and Gameron's plasma attacks. When Godmera and Gameron began to turn, Gelynn's organic tendrils lashed out and constricted their throats, and threw them into opposite walls.

As Miereki weakly rose to his feet, Gelynn leapt through the air and drop kicked Miereki off his feet. The psychic kaiju was sent reeling down the hallway and bounced off the side of the wall, and fell to his knees. Miereki turned to see a familiar shape approach him�

"Blaradon," Miereki stated coldly.

"Yes, me," Blaradon said before raising his pincer claws and attempted to plunge them through Miereki's chest. Instead, Miereki held the claws at bay with his telekinesis. "Me, me, me�"

Miereki growls as he called upon his psychic potential and knocks Blaradon away.

"Have you forgotten, Miereki?" Blaradon hissed, "We have a fight to finish. After all we do fight the other in the next tournament battle. See you on the battle field."

With that said Blaradon got up and left the backstage area. Miereki turned to see Putricus now fighting Gelynn with everything he had and regretfully left to due battle with Blaradon.

"Good luck, my friend," Miereki muttered aloud, "You'll need it."

Miereki marched out of the entrance and looked out across the battlefields. Fans were on their feet and cheered loudly for the psychic kaiju, but Miereki blocked off their cheers and searched for his opponent. Blaradon had likely gone to the city. Miereki hovered off the ground and shot through the air. Miereki flew over the rooftops of the large skyscrapers that loomed in the now night sky, before a stream of energy tore through the air and narrowly avoided contact with Miereki. Miereki turned and became puzzled.

"Where did that come from?"

Miereki was confused and sought Blaradon's position. Instead the psychic kaiju sensed Blaradon elsewhere�Miereki turned to see Blaradon standing in the courtyard of the area of where monsters could be attacked by artillery and military weapons. Miereki immediately flew straight towards Blaradon but once he was within point blank range, Blaradon blasted Miereki out of the sky with a stream of nuclear fire. Miereki fell into the ground and sunk his claws deep into the earth, before lashing out and sending a strong telekinetic current of the mere thought that flung Blaradon off his feet. As Blaradon rose from the ground, hundreds of missiles were launched from their ports and struck Blaradon's hide, igniting small balls of fire to sparkle around his body.

Blaradon was condoned to feeling pain from human weapons, but instead considered it a tad bit annoying. The fearsome beast turned his head and lit the entire area of where tanks and rocket launchers were present, and incinerated those very grounds in only a few seconds. Luckily the tanks and rocket launchers were artificially programmed and not manned. Blaradon could care less and went on the attack. As Blaradon dove at Miereki with his pincer claws aiming to carve a new one in Miereki's flesh, the psychic kaiju was once again able to catch Blaradon's claws. Blaradon snarled but Miereki barely nudged his hand against the diabolical monster's face. Drool dripped down the slopes of Blaradon's jaws as Miereki lifted him up and threw him over his head. Blaradon fell head first into the ground, but flapped his mighty wings and was back on his feet.

Miereki formed another orb of energy within the palm of his hands and flung it into Blaradon's direction. Blaradon turned to his left and aloud the orb to detonate against his shielded side, and laughed. A nuclear discharge flared from Blaradon's gaping jaws and shot off through the air. Miereki was overwhelmed and caught off guard as the heat beam ripped into his hide and knocked him off his feet. As Miereki struggled to get up, Blaradon came down from the sky and with a instinctual urge to move, Miereki felt Blaradon's claws come down; barely making contact with the sides of his neck. Both monsters acknowledged the other and stared coldly into each other's eyes, before Miereki's eyes began to blossom with a blue aura of light. With a burst of psychic energy, Blaradon was blown through the air and sent flying across the battle field. Soon Blaradon found himself flying all the way across the city, and could see Miereki stand from where he was laying, getting smaller and smaller�

Blaradon slammed into the side of an icy mountain and slid down its slope, until Blaradon rested face first in the frosted ground. Miereki slowly flew towards Blaradon's position and descended from the sky. A cold gust of wind seemed to molest Miereki's body as the psychic kaiju slowly crept towards Blaradon's body. After a few minutes passed and Blaradon made no movements of any kind, Miereki bent down to pin the monster and hopefully end this fight; instead when Miereki bent down to turn Blaradon on his back, Blaradon hopped to his feet and thrusted his pincer blade deep into Miereki's sternum. Miereki gasped in pain as Blaradon rose to his full height and snarled with laughter. Miereki fell to his knees and his closed, trying to block off the intense pain he was feeling. Blaradon raised his right foot and slammed it up against Miereki's chest, and pinned him to the ground. 1�2�3!

Tournament Match Over

"Always knew Blaradon was a diabolical bastard," Montyzilla said while laughing.

"Shhhh�this is a family show Monty! What terrible language!" DDB muttered.

"Well, Blaradon advances in this here tournament and now we must move on! King Kong vs. Gaira is next!" Tomzilla said.

Backstage:

King Kong, Gorgo, Mechani-Kong, the Rhedosaurus are present in their locker room.

"Gorgo, you're in charge while I'm gone." King Kong stated.

"Thank you, King Kong," Gorgo said while bowing her head.

"It's nothing special. You continue the hunt for Ghidrah and his lackeys, while I go beat some sense into Gaira. Maybe even gain information�"

"Good luck," Mechani-King processed out loud.

King Kong nodded before exiting the room and walked down the long hallway. Soon King Kong was heading straight towards the battlefields entrance, until an un-expected turn of event occurred. King Kong turned only to feel the full fury of a steel chair bounce off his skull; while falling to the ground, King Kong stared bluntly at the one of wielded the chair, Sanda. Soon Gabara ran up and wrapped his arms around King Kong's throat, and his three horns on top of his head charged with electricity and electrocuted the giant ape with thousands of volts of energy. King Kong roared in pain as Sanda once again smacked his face with the steel chair.

Gabara released his hold and stood up, looking down at King Kong. Smoke sizzled from King Kong's fur as he gasped for oxygen. Sanda turned towards Gabara and smiled, who smiled back. Gabara ran over and grabbed a table and set it up, while Sanda repeatedly cracked King Kong's ribcage with the steel chair. When the table was set up, Sanda leaned down and grabbed King Kong's face, and pulled him up to his feet. Sanda literally lifted King Kong off the ground and threw him on top of the table. Sanda bent down as Gabara climbed up his back and now was balancing on Sanda's shoulders.

"Get him good," Sanda shouted.

Gabara nodded his head and released a maniacal laugh as he jumped off Sanda's shoulders, flipped backwards in the air, and-MISSED King Kong and the table altogether.

"Idiot," Sanda shouted as he jumped as high as he could and slammed his body against King Kong's own, and drove the giant ape through the table. King Kong cried out in pain, but Sanda just relentlessly plowed King Kong's face with his furious fists of fury. Sanda finally stood and began to walk away, only pulling Gabara to his feet and then carried him to their locker room. King Kong rolled across the ground and shook his head, before releasing a loud powerful roar and rose to his feet.

"I will not be ignored!" King Kong shouted to the heavens. His voice echoed out to the battle field, being heard by the MWF fans who cheered in response.

Gaira, who stood on top of a skyscraper and saw the whole thing, seemed taken back by King Kong's response. King Kong suddenly burst from the entrance and ran straight towards Gaira, crushing small houses in his wake. Gaira snarled and was going to jump down from the skyscraper, until King Kong suddenly leaped through the air and speared Gaira off the building! Gaira roared in pain and clamped his jaws on King Kong's throat. Kong roared in anger and plowed Gaira's face with his right fist, before pushing himself off the Gargantua and was now at his full 45 meter height.

As Gaira crept to his knees, King Kong tore the upper part of a nearby building and threw it into Gaira's face. The Green Gargantua fell flat on his back and was covered in rubble. King Kong turned and ran straight towards one of the largest skyscrapers and climbed up its side. When Gaira rose from the rubble and looked to see where King Kong could be, the Hardcore Champion did not anticipate King Kong dropping from the top of a skyscraper the size of the Empire State Building, and driving his elbow into the back of Gaira's head! Everything turned dark when Gaira had fallen face first into the ground. King Kong rolled across the streets, crushing nearby cars and re-shaping the street itself. King Kong pushed his arms off the ground and charged at the fallen Gaira, and elbow dropped the Green Gargantua. Even while being un-conscious, Gaira's body showed signs of pain from King Kong's onslaught.

King Kong turned and ran behind an office building, and pushed it with all his might. Gaira weakly rose to his feet and turned to see that very same office building tilt into his direction and crush his body with thousands of tons of concrete. As Gaira lay buried beneath rubble, King Kong angrily thrusted his hands through the rubble and wrapped them around Gaira's throat. Kong pulled the Green Gargantua out of the rubble and snorted with anger.

"I want answers!" King Kong shouted, spitting in Gaira's ugly face.

"I-I-I can't�" Gaira said, trying to gasp for air.

But King Kong's grip only seemed to tighten and soon Gaira was beginning to pass out. In attempt to live, Gaira smacked his hands against the rubble and gasped, "I quit!"

King Kong showed no signs of emotion as the bell rang and he heard himself be declared the winner.

King Kong still did not release his hold, and Gaira's face began to turn bright red. It wasn't until King Kong turned to see Sanda, Gabara, and Frankenstein running straight towards him that he released his hold. King Kong charged and did a double close line to Gabara and Frankenstein and met in combat with Gaira's older brother, Sanda. The brown Gargantua roared in anger at the giant ape for what he did to his brother and lifted King Kong off the ground with his immense strength and threw King Kong into the side of a building. But even with thousands of tons of rubble on top of him, King Kong burst in a fit of rage and howled angrily at Sanda. Sanda charged forward and attempted to take King Kong out with one swing of the fist, but Kong ducked down and picked Sanda up over his head. Sanda roared in displeasure as King Kong threw him over the rooftops of a few buildings, and Sanda came crashing down into the ground. King Kong turned and saw Frankenstein and Gabara escorting the wounded Gaira off the battle ground, and soon Sanda himself was trailing behind them. King Kong roared and gave chase, making them move even faster!

Announcing Booth-

"You know what? King Kong is starting to remind me of Terry Tate the Office Linebacker." Tomzilla laughed as he and his fellow announcers saw King Kong chase away his enemies.

"Well, shouldn't we move on to our next fight, Kiryu vs. Godzorga?" DDB questioned.

"Yes, but we still have a little backstage brawl going on and well the fans want to see what's going on!" Tomzilla replied.

Backstage-

Godmera and Gameron lay across the blood-drenched floor, dead. Rich fountains of blood poured from their critical wounds as Gelynn and Heldarr deviously devoured their limbs and ripped them apart. Gelynn turned to see Putricus, who had been knocked out only a few minutes ago. Heldarr paid no attention and ripped Godmera's guts out of his belly and thanked his Lord and Master for a delicious meal.

"Look," Gelynn alleged.

Heldarr's red eyes turned from Godmera's corpse and saw Putricus' body lying face first on the ground. The dragon's body seemed to absorb Godmera and Gameron's blood, as it laid still. Gelynn stomped towards Putricus body and opened his carnivorous jaws, and charged up a plasma beam that would likely decapitate and incinerate Putricus. But as the energy blast shot from Gelynn's mouth and illuminated the entire hallway in a aura of light of death, a barrier of unknown origins covered Putricus's body and the energy blast harmlessly washed across its protective walls. Gelynn roared bitterly and turned to see a wounded Miereki slowly creep towards the battle field that took place backstage.

"You will not harm him!" Miereki shouted telepathically.

"Correction; I will harm him and you!" Gelynn snorted.

Miereki's eyes dimmed brightly blue and soon the psychic kaiju released a powerful energy blast from his palms, after stretching them out and pointing them at Gelynn. Gelynn was knocked off his feet and seared down the hallway, and slammed against the wall. Steam hissed and rose from Gelynn's armor as he rose to his feet. Gelynn released a loud, rumbling roar that shook the entire backstage area. Heldarr turned and released a dreadful terra beam. Miereki, already weakened, couldn't stop it and was blasted off his feet by the powerful attack. Sparks flashed wildly around Miereki's body as it was scalded from the intense heat.

"Face it, Miereki," Heldarr stated, "You are done for!"

Miereki laid on his back, eyes closed, as his bit his lips.

"I'm sorry, Putricus," Miereki said as Gelynn and Heldarr made their way towards the fallen kaiju.

Miereki prepared for the inevitable as death loomed overhead, until what seemed like a phoenix from the heavens came and engulfed the evil ones in a shower of fire and light. Gelynn and Heldarr roared in pain as a fireblast nearly incinerated their bodies. When Miereki turned he noticed it wasn't anywhere near a phoenix, but the Red Dragon himself, Enferno. Enferno released a loud, un-earthly cry from his reptilian snout, which shook the very shafts of the backstage itself. Flames churned brightly in Enferno's maw as the Red Dragon released another blazing fireblast that knocked Heldarr clear to other side of the hallway. Gelynn rose to his feet and snarled at the sight of the Dragon.

"Enferno�" Gelynn muttered coldly.

"Gelynn�" Enferno fired back.

"So we meet again, Red Dragon," Gelynn stated.

"Let's not forget Gelynn; the last time we met I tore you apart. I came back for seconds�" Smoke began to extinguish from Enferno's jaws with each breath he took.

Gelynn immediately opened his mouth and fired a blazing energy ball, but Enferno flapped his mighty wings, shot off into the air, and dodged the energy ball as it seared past his feet. The energy ball flew down the hallway and made its way towards Miereki, who watched helplessly as it closed in. Enferno turned and his amber glowing eyes glowed even brighter, as particles of light began to charge in his mouth and the Red Dragon fired his particle beam. The particle beam sliced through the central portion of the energy ball and soon caused it to expand until it was absolutely nothing. Miereki sighed but as Enferno turned towards Gelynn, Gelynn's organic tentacles lashed out and constricted Enferno's waist and throat. The Red Dragon gasped for oxygen but Gelynn just slammed the reptile's body up against the side of the wall. It seemed as if Gelynn would get his revenge right then and there, until an telekinetic orb shot through the air and pierced the organic tentacles, and blasted them apart. Enferno, now free of Gelynn's grasp, released a stream of fire that washed up against Gelynn's armored chest. As Enferno continued to spat his fireblast, the dragon released a barrage of fireballs at the same time! The fireballs detonated against Gelynn's already scorched armor and began to penetrate it with each hit. Enferno's left eye turned and stared at Miereki.

"I owed you one," Miereki said telepathically.

Enferno then had his full concentration on Gelynn and ceased his fire attacks. Gelynn, who still stood after receiving that much, roared in anger as he tried to keep his balance. Particles of energy once again dwindled in Enferno's gaping mouth, and shot a powerful particle beam that blasted a blazing hole right through Gelynn's chest! Gelynn began to stumble back and forth before falling forward, where his throat was slashed by Enferno's tail blade. Gelynn bounced off the ground and fell on his back, out-cold. Enferno turned and walked over, and picked Putricus up and placed his armor over Gelynn's chest for the pin fall. As Heldarr screamed and ran towards his fallen partner, Enferno spat another fireblast that swept Heldarr back down the hallway. Enferno looked down and counted to three, 1�2�3!

Losers: Gelynn, Heldarr, Godmera, and Gameron.

Enferno turned, showing no desire to stay and confront Putricus; who began to awaken, and Miereki. The Red Dragon released a powerful roar and flew down the hallway, before heading towards his own locker room. Miereki weakly rose and helped his partner to his feet, as the Garuda hovered down the ruined hallway, and gave them their Mutation Tag Titles.

Battle Island-

"I don't believe it!" Tomzilla's voice blared through the speakers, as the fans in the stands cheered for Kiryu. "I apologize for everyone�it seemed while the backstage brawl took place, Kiryu and Godzorga's fight occurred and well�as you can see, Kiryu is the victor."

"Man, we need to really schedule these backstage brawls. And this tournament is interfering with well, the current champions and them defending their titles." Montyzilla pointed out.

"So true," Tomzilla said. "Well�now it's time for our Main Event�let's go to the battle fields!"

Backstage-

A wounded Gelynn and Heldarr slowly crept into Bagan's lair. Upon entering, they saw their master speaking with their Lord and Creator, and remained silent.

'Then you are aware of what you must do, Bagan?'

"Of course my liege, I'm always ready to carry out your desires!"

The mystic portal closed and Bagan turned to see his associates.

"Did you do what I asked?"

"Yes my lord, but we-"

"Excellent!" Bagan shouted with joy that was un-like him. "Now my tournament fight is set to happen now and the plan is already set. If you'll excuse me," Bagan said as Gelynn and Heldarr moved out of the way. It was strange that Bagan didn't care that they lost�though they never really told him.

MAIN EVENT

The fans were silent as Bagan stomped out from the entrance ramp. The demonic dragon's eyes flashed with crimson energies as he sought his opponent's position. On the other side of the city, with his tentacles waving back and forth, was the Ryuseicho; Iris. The mutated Gyaos aberration moaned a loud cry that shook even the torn soul of Bagan himself. Bagan released a loud, powerful roar that caused the very windows in the City Arena to shatter.

Bagan, with amazing speed, ran across the city; crushing buildings even larger than himself with his body, until he was only a few hundred yards away from Iris. Iris brought up his tentacles and charged up his sonic beams, until Bagan's blazing energy blast struck Iris' body and the Ryuseicho moaned in agony. With smoke sizzling from Iris' body, it seemed un-likely that such a deadly creature would've lost so quickly. But in surprise, Irish fell to the ground. Bagan walked over and threw Iris on his backside, and placed his foot over his chest. 1�2�3!

"Well�that was surprising!" Tomzilla shouted. "It was like they planned this or something."

Bagan turned and with a loud cry that shook the bowels of the planet itself, acknowledged Gojira and Gamera.

"GOJIRA AND GAMERA! I, the great Bagan, challenge you both to come out and settle this with me once and for all. I know there is a lot of bad blood between us, and I'd like nothing more than to purge your bodies of all the blood within your veins."

Bagan's challenge was immediately accepted as Gojira's pale white eyes glimmered from the darkness of the city's boundaries. Near the very Ice Field itself, Gojira came towards Bagan. Soon the sky lit up from an aura of light as Gamera flew across the dark sky, releasing a loud roar. Gamera soon descended from the sky and slammed into the ground, shuddering entire buildings within his wake. Gojira slowly crept towards Bagan, until the Demonic Dragon was surrounded by both monsters.

"Finally," Bagan snorted.

Gojira's spines flared with atomic energies as the Dark God prepared to fire his thermonuclear blast. Until suddenly two of Iris' tentacles rose from beneath the rubble and fired two sonic beams, which struck Gojira's hide and began to penetrate. Gojira roared in anger as he fired his thermonuclear blast into the other direction, and hit Gamera. Gamera roared in pain as he fell to the ground, enveloping the area of where he laid in nothing but smoke and debris. Bagan turned and with Iris, un-leashed a barrage of their most powerful attacks which subdued Gojira into a state of un-consciousness. Soon a portal opened and began to suck both Gojira and Gamera inside, along with a few buildings as well. Bagan and Iris released a frightening laugh as they too disappeared in the portal.

"What the hell just happened here?" Montyzilla blurted.

"You were right, TZ," DDB said. "This was all planned out."

"Wish I wasn't right�well fans, we're going to have to look into this next week! Be sure to be there when we return! Second week into Season 3, and things are already becoming all freaky. I need a new hobby�"

Monster Island�

Fire Rodan, Kiryu, and an injured Gigantis and Anguirus resided in the tropical jungles of Monster Island. Before them, the 100 meter leviathan, Godzilla, looked down at them.

"It's good to see you all again." Godzilla said deafeningly.

"Please Godzilla, come back! We could really use your help." Anguirus stated.

"Why should I come back? You have things under-control." Godzilla replied.

"But how long will we have things under control?" Gigantis questioned.

Godzilla shook his head and beat the ground with his longer tail.

"You guys really don't understand," Godzilla said, "You are doing just fine without me. Besides, I always attracted the real trouble�"

"�Trouble that is still there!" Anguirus shouted.

"Forget it Anguirus," Gigantis said by placing his hand on his friend's shoulder, "He's not changing his mind. Besides, we can deal with anyone if we work together. Come."

Gigantis and Anguirus turned, and walked away.

"What of you, Fire Rodan?" Godzilla asked.

"Well, I agree with them. Godzilla�your power always seemed to help the benefit and cause of the MWF. We need you to return�" Fire Rodan cackled.

"You already know my answer�"

Fire Rodan put his head down and flapped his mighty wings, flattening nearby trees and flew away. Leaving Godzilla and Kiryu behind�

"Godzilla�" Kiryu digitally muttered.

"Kiryu�it's been a while." Godzilla said.

"Indeed it has, Godzilla," the Mecha Godzilla of the new Millennium mentioned. "Listen�I wanted to ask you that what they say is correct. Even if I was artificially created by man, I still have instinct that tells me that we will need you in the coming weeks. Please�when trouble brews and it seems as if we can't do it alone, return. The MWF needs a strong and powerful Godzilla that will for sure help them."

Godzilla closed his eyes and his spines flashed with nuclear energy, which bathed the entire jungle and a beautiful aura of light.

"Kiryu," Godzilla said, "The MWF already had a powerful Godzilla on their side during the Zog incident. Remember�even if you are an artificial life form, we know deep down and inside you are the original Godzilla to a certain degree. With you on the MWF's side, the MWF will always have a Godzilla there to protect it. Don't forget that."
