6 a.m alone (words : Naylor/Clothier, music Clothier)

Glyn: Based on a poem i wrote when i was lonely (ahh). Guess its about the death of the old as well (please see winter cull) bit nicer though cos i dont work with them. Jack wrote the chorus and the music. Might have nicked the title from sheryl crow's my favourite mistake, dont think i did but if i did im sorry chez, sorry its your only good song too

He sits and waits for the day to come
Outside the rain will fall
his mind is as ice, reflecting the cold
todays the day he thought

try to catch a falling star
although the silence breaks your heart
             never knowing from the start
though the silence is who you are

and as the man sits the world takes its place
quietly outside the door
it sits, and it waits for the touch of a foot
with this foot the world takes its form
