| A carbon footprint shows how much carbon dioxide is released into the air due to your daily actions and purchases. Your choices can either help or hurt the environment and our future. This page shows you links to carbon calculators that tell you your household's impact, allowing you yo be aware of what you do to the environment, as well as telling you how to purchase offsets if you wish. |
| GREEN stands for Global Rescue Environmental Education Network, a program started by Summa Academy South in order to educate ourselves and others about global warming, carbon footprints, ecological footprints, and how we can all create a sustainable future. We also engage in a number of projects that are aimed at creating a greener local community which may become a model for other schools in the district and beyond. |
