Andy has been teaching music ever since he learned his first 4 chord song, Cotton Ginny by Gordon Lightfoot, in 1975.
Teaching and learning for twenty-some years, Andy has developed String Theory. A method for learning and playing all of the stringed instruments. Students learn to grasp real music theory while understanding it's application in a intuitive way with a few simple, universal laws of accoustics.
Students begin to improvise within the first hour and with repetatition are able to play along with any song in any key, major or minor on any stringed instrument. This improvasational technique can be applied to any instrument.
