Baby Signs by Drs. Linda Acredolo and Susan Goodwyn
This is so much fun! We learned a little about this when AJ was first born and used it with Ali. She used 2 signs consistantly, till she could talk (drink and more). AJ learned to talk so fast, there really wasnt much need. But according to the book, if the whole family uses the signs, baby can learn them as early as 8-9 months. So we are giving it a try, Ali and AJ have just learned a few so far: Food, drink (actually the sign for milk cuz Dawn sucks her thumb and it would be confusing other wise), please, thank you, more, and sleepy. This is a fun experiment and maybe something really cool if it works.

Other than that it is all playing it by ear, or I should say by God. When a subject needs addressing or the kids want to address a subject, we will. That, I think is one of the greatest joys of homeschooling.
