Is the room furnished ?
Yes, furnitures are provided for convenience, which include queen sized futon as bed, chairs, desk, lamps and cabinet; and a kitchen that includes refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave
Is Parking avaiable in Monroe House ?
Monroe House has a parking garage in basement, but I did not purchase it; so you'll need purchase a parking spot if you need it, or parking on DC street generally are free after 6:30pm or 8:30pm and before 7am or 9am
How about Washier/Dryer or Laundry ?
It's available in Monroe House basement (B-1), which take pay in coins
Is utilities included in the rent?
Yes, utilities expenses are covered in your rent, which includes electricity, water, air-conditioning, etc; the room has a brand new refrigerator; though the service for telephone, internet or cable are not covered, you have to check with service providers to set them up, together with devices for yourself, such as PC and TV
Is the building 24 hours secured ?
Yes, the building has a main gate which is secured with entry code; visitors are required to call the resident to get in; the building has a manager who lives in first floor although he may not sit in receptionist room 24 hours every day
