I came home from school the other day to find Monopoly games scattered all over the floor! The shelf itself had landed on top of the twilight section underneath! The set which came off most damaged was the UK travel set of 1997 (Red Box) which is now rather squashed as a result of it being underneath the shelf. Other city games have been damaged in such a way the the corners have become rounded. I don't know how to explain that correctly.
To add insult to injury, when i finally got the shelf back up, the first four city games on it fell off the end, but that's not all. The northern ireland edition at the front landed on top of, wait for it, the little metal spike that comes out the top of the hi-hat on the drumkit. It went completely through the entire set!
I am rather annoyed at the amount of damage been done, but in the end, there was nothing that could be done at the time.
