THE MONOPOLY TV SHOW |
THE FINAL |
Gemma won the main Monopoly game and went through to the final after the break.
This is how we played the final : The board we used was a Junior Monopoly board. As you may know, properties on the Junior Monopoly board only cost 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5. The idea was, to buy as many amusements as possible on the board with a view to winning more cash. And yet again, the Free Parking space had a big part to play because it was worth 10. The timer ran for one minute and you had to buy as many properties as possible. So, say at the end of the minute you had bought properties totaling at 21 and had landed on Free Parking once which made your total 31, that would mean that you had won a grand total of 31,000! You may wonder why this is?! What we did was simply added 3 nothings onto your total and that was your grand final prize money! I got this example from Gemma who walked away with 31k. (Not really of course!)
Have a look at the screenshots to see how Gemma coped. Believe it or not, John got so excited, far far more than Gemma did! And it wasn't even for real!!! |

The main round of that game show was based on the Edinburgh Monopoly Board. The final round was done on a Junior Monopoly Board. Thank you to Hasbro, Waddingtons & Winning Moves. Also to Panasonic for their recording equipment. The next edition of Monopoly is going to be shot in February with two new contestants playing on the Glasgow Monopoly Board. Thanks for reading about this. There will be updates soon! |
