MONOPOLY ON TELEVISION
My best friend and myself have a wee thing that we do with the video camera. It's an entire 4 hour show with various programs from cooking to chat and from news to games and there are adverts in between. On one of the shows, the game show we chose to do was Monopoly!

Well, for starters, we didn't really follow the Classic Parker Brothers Rules. We allowed simple things like dice rolling off the board and things like not going to jail after your third doubles roll. Also, there is a common house rule in which you place Luxury Tax money on Free Parking. Well, since it was a game show we decided to use the Free Parking space as a space where you could claim a prize of free computer software or a luxury cruise or something like that! Free Parking was landed on twice and the two prices that were given away were a Monopoly CD-ROM and a Holiday to Australia (Not for real of course!!)

Monopoly Theme Tune (Used at the end of the show while the credits were rolling)
This little tune seems to stick in everybodys mind and is probably one of the most irritating songs you'll ever hear! However, it was the theme tune to our little show and it fitted in quite well.

Chance
Everytime one of the contestants drew a chance card this quick clip was played in the background.

Community Chest
As above, except this one was when a Community Chest card was drawn. (Excuse the terrible singing!)

Go To Jail
When somebody landed on the Go to Jail space or drew the Go to Jail card, this was played.

Prize
As I explained above, when somebody landed on Free Parking, they won a great prize and this is what was played when it was landed on.
Gemma's luck was certainly in where the stations were concerned. She nearly got all four when the game ran out of time, and she was so excited when she did get one as you can see from these facial expressions! It payed off in the end. Chris ended up owing her �100 for landing on one of her stations!
