| Toki- One of the many women saved by Eboshi she is loud, arrogant, devoted and a leader. First to lead when trouble starts, and will stand up to even the leader of the guard. Yet, like Iboshi, she recognizes the value of people. She may be a feminist, but she loves her husband (Kouroku), although she cannot say why. Like many of the characters she was a bonded woman, saved by Iboshi from the brothel. She works the bellows, and has a very loud (demanding) mouth. |
| Kouroku- An ox-driver who was saved by Ashitaka. He is afraid and nave. Scared of simple, harmless tree spirits he was tossed aside the cliff by Marrow and her wolf cubs. In the end he showed the link to how people think. After the forest spirit died he said I didnt know the forest spirit made the flowers grow. He was afraid of what he didnt understand. He is totally dominated by his wife, Toki., probably out of love |
