| Jigo- A short and fattened monk who is agile, deadly and cunning. Wearing stilted heals, his goal is to get the forest God�s head and give it to the emperor for a mountain of Gold. He had helped Iboshi, and came back to call on her for the favor. He, like Iboshi, is not evil, just self-interested. He even had pointed Ashitaka towards the forest where he himself was going. |

| Gonza- The arrogant and lofty leader of the soldiers of Iron town. Paralyzed during a fight he often goes around afterwards, but never seems to take charge during the battles. Although, like most, he was loyal to Iboshi. Quick to jump to conclusions, yell and establish his dominance he is very much a stereotype. In the end he carries Iboshi back to Iron town after being bitten by Morro�s head. There are allusions to him being in love with her. |
