| What is a chocobo? Chocobos are fun loving gentle creatures that originate from the final fantasy series of videogames. They look something like a dodo or ostrich and can be used for racing, transportation or as a wild animal. Chocobos can be caught wild using a chocobo lure wherever their are chocobo tracks. Chocobos come in many different colour with many different skills but the most common is yellow. Usually to get a different colour you have to cross breed different chocobos very carefully using different rare nuts. these different coloured Chocobos usually reflect any special abilities they have Chocobos can be breed at Chocobo Ranches (pictured below) |

you may be wondering what chocbos to breed to get the
different coloured chocobos with the special abilities
well here goes: First you will need to rent 6 stables at the Chocobo ranch in Final Fantasy 7 then travel near the gold saucer tracks and capture a great and a good chocobo( ask Choco Billy to tell you if you have a good and a great chocobo) remember they have to be male and female then travel near Bone Village and fight a monster called Vlakorados you can steal the essential nut you want from him called the Carob Nut. Once you have a carob nut and a good male or female chocobo and a great male or female chocobo you can breed them using the Carob nut. However you can not get a Blue or green chocobo until you have each of the parents up to at least B standard at the Gold Saucer. With any luck you should have a blue or green chocobo when you breed the two parents. Know you have a blue or green chocobo all you have to do is wait and then make the same parents breed again to give you the other colour you want remember although you can use the same parents to get both the green and blue chocobo's you will probably need to let them rest between breeding and remember to use a Carob nut. Now you have both the Green and Blue Chocobo's race them up to B grade or above and then breed them together (hopefully you got a male and female if not repeat the process again) using a another Carob nut this should hopefully give you a black Chocobo (ocean and mountain going). Finally to get the holy Gold chocobo you need your black chocobo and a wonderful chocobo found near Icicle inn of the opposite sex, remember to ask Choco Billy to make sure you get a wonderful chocobo as they are quite rare. Then race both chocobos to Class A or above and get them to mate using a Zeio Nut. Zeio Nuts can be found on the small island north of the ranch, its the island with one forest you have to steal it from a creature called Goblin. When you have a Zeio nut and two parents breed them and with alittle bit of luck you should get a gold chocobo.Wark. Wark. |
