The Polar Bears main diet is ringed and bearded seals, which are found all over the Arctic Circle. Also it catches harp, hooded and larger bearded seals. It usually eats bits of the animal unless it’s really hungry it will eat the whole animal. Polar Bear would share its killings with another Bear rather than protect it from others. Polar Bears are also scavengers since they feed on narwhals, walruses and bowhead and beluga whales. When summer arrives, the polar bears are stranded on ice floes and are forced to eat small mammals, birds and their eggs, berries that are arctic bilberries, cranberries, raspberries, grass and bark. Sometimes they have been seen eating seaweed.
