Apparently they have a new line of bullshit they are pedaling; something called �Fair Enough.� Fair as in honest? Wow, talk about hypocrisy. I guess there are already several of these new commercials that have been aired, but this was the first one I have seen. It was about the 'dangers� of second hand smoke.
The ad revolves around a group of supposed tobacco executives during a marketing meeting sometime during the 80�s. There�s a laugh track and the whole thing is supposed to be a mock sitcom. The laugh track goes off every time the �tobacco executives� mention something about telling people second hand smoke isn�t harmful. It�s supposed to be telling us that second hand smoke really IS dangerous. I�m sure the nimrods over at the Truth think this is all clever and shit, but it�s not. It�s also simply not true. The Truth�s tagline for the commercial is �It might be funnier if it wasn�t true.� Well here�s the joke, shitstain; IT�S NOT TRUE!
Your commercials are a lie. There have only ever been TWO comprehensive studies done to determine the possible harmful effects of second hand smoke. One by the EPA, and another by the World Health Organization. You want to know what they both discovered, once they were forced by the courts to show the entire results of their studies? There is NO direct link between second hand smoke and ANY health problems. NONE, unless you already have an existing respiratory problem.
So like every other ad these ass-monkeys have produced, this is nothing but lies and sensationalized propaganda. These fuckers really should be taken to task for polluting the public airwaves like this. If they really wanna do some good they should donate all the cash they�re wasting on this shit to cancer research, and just shut the fuck up. Everyone already KNOWS that smoking will kill you. We all knew it BEFORE these people came along to educate us all.
Bottom line: if you want truth, DON�T go to the Truth.com. Check out the National Enquirer or Weekly World News and you�ll have a better shot at learning something real. The only reason to visit the Truth is the same reason to read the Bible or call a TV psychic; for entertainment purposes only.
