So MY question is, when did God say that assassinations were okay? What happened to that whole, �Thou shalt not commit murder� thing that they all love to go on about? Y�know, number five on that list of ten rules they constantly yammer on about? Doesn�t assassination sorta run contrary to that idea? Assassination is murder, isn�t it? Sure, they gave it another name to try and make it seem more romantic, but it�s still the act of purposely taking a human life, and that�s murder.
And that�s exactly what Pat Robertson�s advocating. Assassination. Murder. He declared, on national television, that the best possible course of action the government could take regarding Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez is to have him killed. It seems Chavez doesn�t like Robertson�s little buddy Dubya, and has been a rather vocal critic of him. Yeah, Chavez and any other person with an IQ above single digits. Bush IS a fucking moron, and he�s doing a lot of stupid, dangerous things during his presidency.
But being a vocal critic of Ears does NOT mean that Chavez poses a �terrific threat� to the United States. Nor does it mean he plans on using his country as �the launching pad for Communist infiltration and Muslim extremism.� That�s nothing but bullshit propaganda, something Christians like Robertson excel at.
Hypocrisy is something else they excel at. They tell us that the finest thing we can do is love our fellow man. And teach them of the glory of the Lord. But then they tell us it�s okay to kill someone just because they point out some glaring deficiencies in one of our friends. And by friends I mean the people they give money to so they can make laws to protect idiots like Robertson when they do whatever they feel like doing.
The best part about this whole thing is just exactly who Pat Robertson is. He�s not just another run of the mill Christian idiot. He�s the founder of the Christian Coalition, a group that causes numerous headaches for normal people by sticking its nose in where no one wants it, and trying to tell people how to live their lives. It is one of the most evil groups in the known Universe, and should be condemned every chance we get. Not only that, but he�s the also host of his very own anti-freedom television show, The 700 Club. And this is the forum in which he made his asinine pro-murder speech.
�We have the ability to take him out, and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability,� is what Robertson said of Chavez on his propaganda show. Yep, the leader of the Christian Coalition saying on national TV that we should kill the leader of a sovereign nation. Ya just can�t help but love these guys. �We don�t need another $200 billion dollar war to get rid of one, you know, strong-arm dictator,� he also said. �It�s a whole lot easier to have some of the covert operatives do the job and then get it over with.� What a BRILLIANT idea! And it seems so natural coming from the pie-hole of a world-recognized Christian leader. Although truth be told, this IS a good strategy, just not one that needs to be applied in Venezuela. That�s not the government that�s threatening the world�s safety.
What I still cannot understand, even after meeting and knowing as many people as I have during my life, and realizing just how fucking dumb humanity is, is how people can still listen to this walking, talking giant turd. Or any of the countless morons who are just like him in churches everywhere, but don�t have enough money to produce their own TV show, in which they too could spread the Gospel of complete bullshit.
And I also can�t fathom how these people are allowed to have any connection at all to politics. I mean, I know on their base level politics and religion are the same. They�re both about controlling people, and nothing else. Neither one is interested in actually HELPING anyone. Not as organizations they aren�t. I do realize that there are INDIVIDUALS in both areas that might genuinely care about others, but as a whole neither group is any damn good at all. And those few beacons of light would find ways to help others even without the organizations, so there�s no real need for them to be allowed to continue.
Something else we need to keep in mind is that there is NO EVIDENCE to support the claims that Robertson made against Chavez. The only thing Chavez is guilty of is realizing Bush is stupider than the last crap I took, and saying so in public. Well, count me in on that one, cuz I know Dubya�s a fucking moron as well. And I have no problem telling anyone that.
The next thing I have to wonder is why Robertson himself isn�t being silenced, or even publicly condemned by the current administration. He does know that assassination is illegal, right? Political assassinations by our government have been illegal since 1976, although I am NOT na�ve enough to believe that means anything at all. I am quite certain it happens all the time. But to come right out on public television and say that what we should do now, well, this guy needs to be put down. Hard. And the fact that our government has said NOTHING about it only confirms how completely fucking clueless they are about EVERYTHING!
I know nothing is going to be done about this. Bush isn�t going to say anything publicly about Robertson�s insanity. He�s gonna go on as he has been, believing he�s some sort of god, or at least demi-god, until the revolution comes. And if he continues on the path he�s on right now, that�s exactly what�s gonna happen.

And his insanity is proven by another remark he made during the same broadcast. �You know, I don�t know about this doctrine of assassination, but if he thinks we�re trying to assassinate him, I think that we really ought to go ahead and do it.
