| Dubya and torture - two sides of the coin | |||||||||
| HOME | BACK TO RANTS | ||||||||
| So there was a funny little article in the paper the other day. It seems our fearless leader, Dubya the First, wants us all to believe that the United States does not condone torture. I repeat, Dubya and his cronies insist that they do not condone, or use in any way, torture.
Actually, that needs to be made a little clearer. The United States does not employ torture on war prisoners being held at secret installations overseas. He did not say anything about using it on people right here at home. And Im not talking about prisoners. Im talking about ordinary citizens. Think about it. How many times have you been sitting down in front of the TV in the evening, and old Ears himself comes on to let us all in on his latest brilliant scheme for the country? The correct answer is, too many. Well, thats torture. Having to listen to that imbecile talk is torture of the worst sort, and nobody should ever be exposed to that. Well, unless you happen to have voted for the retarded chimp, and still think that was the right decision. But regular, intelligent people should never have to go through that, especially having to listen to him yammer on about how things arent really that bad and we should all be thankful hes in charge and not someone who might know what theyre doing. Okay, my question is HOW exactly are things better with him in office? And for whom, because Ill tell you this much; the only people who seem to be doing okay the past five years or so are the upper one percent who were already rich. Everybody else has been getting reamed in the ass. Our intelligence is also being tortured, as well as insulted, every single time the Supreme Moron tries to dream up another excuse for the war in Iraq. Actually, even calling it a war is insulting to our intelligence, and therefore a form of torture. He needs, as do we all, to start calling it what it really was; an invasion of a sovereign nation. There was no reason for that to ever take place, other than his daddy, Big Bush, hasnt felt good about himself after not decisively winning HIS little pissing contest with Saddam when He attacked Iraq over oil. So junior had to make up reasons to go and finish what daddy couldnt. Which leads us to the torture of having to bury so many of our young men and women who have been killed as a result of this totally uncalled for invasion. Somehow his excuses dont hold up very well against even ONE body bag coming back from there, let alone the over TWO THOUSAND that we have actually seen. Tell me thats not torture and Ill tell you youre an idiot. Yup, I do feel so much better knowing that our country and its leaders dont employ torture on the terrorists we capture. Dont you? |
