Swapping a drummer for a guitarist?

Ben Dover writes for MFN

Have Monkey Flip lost a drummer, but found a guitarist? We can only see, but Luke and Adrian have been seen jamming with a certain Robert Miller a lot recently. Rob (of Tapehead Cleaner fame) has been friends with Luke and Adrian for quite some time now, so this may all be speculation, but who can say. This could all prove the rumour that has been going around the ghettos of Shirley for a while now of a Tapehead Cleaner / Monkey Flip merger. Rob can play guitar normally, behind his head and up his arse, and has been rumoured to be able to do all three in times of drunkenness. He would also add a valuable third singer and second finger tapper to the band, which would take the whole of the music industry to a new level. That's right folks, simultaneous finger tapping madness could bring about a world record in the number of spontaneous cats-arse faces from an audience at once. The current record is 69, and is held by the Telletubby-Man, who does most of his gigs in Southampton and Winchester city centres. We tracked down 'Mad' Mark Aston, to ask him what he thought about the prospect. Unfortunately lots of jumping up and down, high pitch screaming, air guitar and stupid faces can not be written in this primitive language that we have learnt to call English, but we got the impression that he liked the idea. On asking Jonny P the same question,   he replied "Donde esta mi sombrero, mi queso esta pegado a mi cabeza. Mucha mucha grasa en mi vida." Again, this is a good response. As the quest for a drummer continues, the prospects of a second guitarist can only encourage drummers to consider the position, but we will have to keep you informed.
