County Dam

This lab shows how to make an efficient dam. If you want to learn how to make the dam work with useing the least money, this is a good lab to do. There is a program on a computer that tells you what your dam does. If it fails or if it works. You have a $500 budget to make the dam work. You can set hard floor, empty blocks, filled blocks, and half blocks to make the bridge work. You want to make the bridge heavy enouph to not slide away when the water comes. You need to have the dam go all the way to the top. When you test the bridge, the program tells you which lines work, and which ones do not. It tells you what part of the bridge doesn't work, like the structural integrity. Once you get a bridge to work, you want to try to make it worth less money. You can do this by removing blocks that are not needed. Once you are happy with the budget of the bridge, you can go on to work on other things, and you will leave the lab with the knowledge of how to construct a good dam.
