The boys end up spending the night at a deceased millionaire's mansion after being included in his will. People are being murdered, and the Monkees uncover who's behind these dastardly acts.

Episode Title - play on "Monkey See, Monkey Do," a popular phrase for following along.
Sherlock Holmes & Dr. Watson - Two of the most famous literary figures of all time. Sherlock Holmes was a super-sleuth, and Dr. Watson was his assistant.
General Sarnoff - worked for RCA and created national networks in radio and television so that shows could be heard and seen cross-country.
Christmas Past, Ebenezer Scrooge, Bob Crachit, Jacob Marley and Tiny Tim - literary characters created by Charles Dickens, all featured in The Christmas Carol.
Last Act of Hamlet - Everyone dies at the end of Hamlet. Sorry to ruin it for you.
Things I've Noticed (WHY?)
I know the motto "Be prepared", but Mike *really* seems to be prepared in this episode. Matches??
Same thing with Micky. Knock-out drops??
Mike really seems to have an attachment to Ellie. Why? Why didn't he just say "back off, short stuff" and take over?
