Monkeying Around
I found the Monkey House which was an indoor exhibit where you walk through and observe different monkey habitats. The first monkeys that I came across were, I believe, the Ebony langurs.1 They had a reddish coat and ultralong tails. They were all sleeping, perched in a tree fixture, with long tails hanging down.
Around the way from them were their relatives, the Silver leaf langurs.2 They were huddled together near the origin of some branches along a horizontal tree. There was a mother and baby. The mother began to groom her baby.3 Then they joined the others and the mother took her long tail in one hand and scratched it with the other hand. I guess long tails can itch too.
