Big Cats
I left the bears for the time, and began to walk around the zoo to look for my other favorite animals, monkeys and apes. I would possibly see some big cats if I had time. In a half day, I didn't know how much I could see, so I had to decide in terms of priorities what I really wanted to see. On my way to find the monkeys, I passed by the African section that had gazelles and birds in a pasture. On the far side of them and probably in another enclosure, I spotted the big lion. There was a male lion resting on a slight hill. I stopped to photograph him, but he was a ways off in the distance. I didn't see any other lions near him.
Near the Silver leaf langur habitat, was a black leopard sitting in a tree.
