Plot:
"Ahh! I cannot believe Jimmy wanted to make a trip all the way to UT Austin; I am so freaking excited!" I yelled to all of my friends, who were trailing along behind me to the theater.
"Aide is such a nerd when it comes to him...you would think she would get over it, seeing as how she stares at him at least half of her days.." my roommate whispered to the other girls.
"I am a nerd. YEAH-I said it!" I yelled over my shoulder.
Eventually we to got to the theater, the whole 2 hours early, just like I wanted. I was so determined to meet him. And since I was a huge nerd, I had done the unthinkable and actually shaved my legs (and other unmentionable areas, wink wink) in anticipation of the big day. We got to the entrance only to realize we couldn't go in yet. Everyone was all pissy, whining about it being so cold and I couldn't help but say, "Jimmy's presence should be warming you up! Where is our team spirit?!" But they all left me to run to the Starbucks across the street for some pre-show coffee. "Go on without me," I said, "I am waiting for my knight with the shining smile..."
Sure enough, only moments after I was left alone, a black limo came and dropped of the man. And what a man-in grungy jeans and a goodwill shirt, hair toussled to perfection. I was in heaven.
"Hey, someone's excited!" he said, raising his right eyebrow.
What, is he talking to me???
"I think we could let you in a little early, huh? It's cold out here...just come back to my dressing room." I was dying, and so glad that I did not leave my post.
After only a few mintues of chatting, what my major was, me giggling uncontrollably at all of his college jokes, me helping him powder those beautiful cheekbones for the face, we were quite comfortable. As I was putting the finishing touches on his face, he pulled me by the loops of my jeans onto his lap, me facing him. "Do I get a kiss for good luck?", he asked.
"Do you even have to ask?!", I said coyly, giving him a wink and a smile.
And we kissed. And it was great.
One thing lead to another, and let's just say that he was a few mintues late getting onstage. No worries though...I didn't mind making the audience wait..the wink I got while he was onstage was enough.
Who says dedication doesn't pay off? ;)
