When I Look Into Your Eyes

Alrightm I know I already have this one posted up in my poetry section but when I first wrote this, it was supposed to be a song. Then somehow it ended up being more like a poem instead. I guess it's however you percieve it....a song is actually a poem.

If I look past that though exterior
I can see all your hopes and fears
I can go into your deepest emotions
And feel everything you feel

If I go even deeper
Past all your hopes and dreams
I see a soul so innocent
And a heart as pure as gold

I see all the secrets you've hidden away
Hoping that they will never escape
Keeping them locked away from the world
You were the only one that could ever know

I see all this and even more
You've opened up so many doors
I know that you'll never say good-bye
When I look into your eyes

I have the key to your soul
I can discover things that no one knows
Like discovering treasure in the sea
Every jewel I find has value to me

Now everyday feels like Christmas time
Every surprise becomes a gift of mine
These gifts can never be replaced
My mind can't ever be erased

I secured you in my mind
In a place where I could always find
The love that I know you have for me
And the love I feel for you so passionately

I love everything about you
I know you feel the same way too
My sould begins to fly
When I look into your eyes

Your eyes tell it all
There's nothing left to say
Once I look into your eyes
