| Here's just a revised version of "When I Look Into Your Eyes". I thought the version was too intense and freaky so I made this one which is a little more realistic. |
| If only I could step into your shoes for a day We would blend to become one I could then go into your deepest emotions And feel everything you feel I could go even deeper Past all your hopes and dreams And see a soul so innocent And a heart that's as pure as gold I could see all the secrets you've hidden away Hoping that they would never escape Keeping them locked away from the world You were the only one that could ever know I could see all this and even more Once I've opened up that door Then I'd know that you would never say goodbye Without even looking in your eyes If I had the key to your soul I could discover things that no one knows Like discovering treasures in the sea Every jewel I find would have value to me But now every day feels like Christmas time Every surprise becomes a gift of mine These gifts can never be replaced My mind can't be erased Even if I can't read your mind All these treasures I still do find I know you love me either way But it would still be nice to be in your shoes For just one day |
